Used to be great, then became average. Now BAD!!
Been with Everleap for about 5 years now. Started out GREAT. I noticed in 2020 things started slowing down with intermittent outages. For the past couple months I have noticed VERY slow performance and several unexplained outages per week. It's getting ridiculous. NOTE: By "outage" what I mean is that I suddenly can't connect to my database or web site for a while. Then, suddenly I can. Without me making ANY changes before or after. These outages typically last 10-30 minutes. Also - they ALWAYS buffer my email. Meaning they hold all my emails for some apparently random amount of time and then release them. Do you know how frustrating that is when you are dealing with a web service that just told you "WE JUST SENT A ONE-TIME CODE TO YOUR EMAIL THAT IS VALID FOR THE NEXT 5 MINUTES"??? And it takes 15 minutes for me to receive the email??? ARGHH!!!! Considering what I pay them - the service is really no longer worth it. In fact, the whole reason I am on the TrustPilot review site writing this review is because I am researching what company I can replace them with. So yeah....obviously I would not recommend.

We are sorry to hear that this customer is unhappy with out hosting. Please note that customers can always contact our technical support team and we will look into any issues and resolve them or recommend solutions. From my understanding, this customer is using an application that is known to use a lot of server resources. And the customer has been upgrading the application to newer versions while hosting with us. As with many applications, each upgrade brings more features which usually means that the application requires even more server resources. This means that the hosting solution that worked well prior to the upgrade may not work well for the new version and it may mean additional services must be added to improve the site performance. Our team can look into the performance and advise. As for weekly unexplained outages, the best thing to do is to contact us so we can look into this matter. This appears to be an isolated case that needs further research. Finally, I suspect that the customer has grey-listing activated for their email. While this feature significantly reduces spam there will be a delay in receiving email. The customer can turn this feature off. In addition, customers do have control over their DNS MX records, so it is possible to use outside email services as well. Again, it's best to contact our support team for any of these issues.
