Disgusted
Disgusted! I too am waiting for payment from BPT since January and have contacted Events.com for help to resolve our nonpayment. No response. Our 4-H program is out around $7000 which should be going towards scholarships for our community youth. This is devastating and disgusting neither company will pay us our money! I filled out their acquisition query some weeks ago but still no response. I have now started contacting the businesses that are listing their events on BPT and warning them about what is happening!

Events.com automatically pays out for ticket sales, as organizers set up their own stripe account, so organizers control their funds, payouts, and timing. For further clarity, we are in the process of acquiring Brown Paper Tickets. If you have already filled out the Event Organizer form: https://acquisition.brownpapertickets.com/ then you will receive a confirmation email as soon as the payment is initiated. Is Events.Com corrupt?
Serious concerns that events.com is a bonafide company. We are a children's NFP and are owed $13K from an event we sold through Brown Paper Tickets - a company they bought back in 2022. No phone contact available to either company, automated response to support.

Apparently there are fees to be listed in the search engine of your site. This was unacceptable. Poor communication also.

Events owes 501c3
I have filled in The Acquisition Form twice, as suggested in the Events.com reply to my previous review BUT still have no response from Events as to when our Not For Profit will receive the $2,000.00 owed since April 2023.

501c3 needs payment from Brown Paper Tickets/Events.com
We used Brown Paper Tickets for an event on February 11, 2023, and understand that events.com is in the process of acquiring them. We still have not received the money from Ticket sales from this event - almost $4000. We are All About Cats, a 501 C3 organization, and we obviously desperately need that money. What action do we need to take in order to get the money owed us?

Still Waiting for Money Owed - ETA Finally got paid
We were quite happy initially that Events.com acquired Brown Paper Tickets as this organization owed us money for tickets sold at an event held in Spring 2022 and Events.com promptly paid us back for this. However, the money for tickets sold at a subsequent event held in December 2022 (which Events.com managed) is STILL OWED to us nearly 5 months later. We have repeatedly enquired as to when we will receive our funds with no response. We are now using another online ticketing platform. ETA: Once we went public with bad reviews online, we "miraculously" were paid the money we were owed. I stand by my original review - it took a great, lengthy effort to finally get paid by Events.Com.
