The products I purchased are really great. They are as promised. They do say to be ready to remove the ceramic coating quickly and the mean it. Just don't let it sit very long and you'll be fine. I do think the detox helps in the process. It went quicker the using wax. Just make sure your out of the sun though. I have only used it once so far but can't wait to use it again

I contacted this company through their website to find out if they test their products on animals. I was answered by an AI assistant saying “I do not have verified information confirming whether the products are cruelty free. If you want a definitive answer, I can have a person follow up with you.” I replied yes, please have a real person contact me. I received another message that same day from ANOTHER AI bot which said the exact same thing: “I do not have verified information confirming whether the products are cruelty free. If you want a definitive answer, I can have a person follow up with you.” I still haven’t heard from any actual humans. Today I received a survey of how I was helped and I gave them a 1-star, stating that nobody ever answered me. I looked for a phone number on their website but there isn’t one. You’d think that a company called “Ethos” would have that information readily available, but they don’t and then they don’t even bother to have a real human answer your questions. Needless to say, I won’t be buying their products.

Tim Coats here, founder of Ethos. To answer your question directly: we never test on animals. Not our finished products, not at any point in our formulation process. Our products are made in-house at our own facility in Wisconsin.

I have been using the Defy product for a few years . It’s amazing how easily it goes on and comes off . Great for glass / mirrors . I use it on my black trim and wheels . Brings the black back and brake dust isn’t an issue . This waterless product works !! I will continue to be a customer because of the quality .

Have always been a carnuba wax user willing to put in the time and effort, but the Ethos Resist changed my game ! We just made a trio from Charleston SC to FL and ran through a lot of love bugs. They baked on in the sun but wiped off without scratching the finish the next day And the Interior spray is great too Some are too slippery or glossy, Ethos is just right and made my interior look brand new again. Can’t wait to try the clay towel on my older car that sits outside and see how that one turns out

This is my second review and I'm really impressed. I left the car sit uncovered for a week after I applied the resist. I used almost the whole bottle, but I had no streaks and the car just looked like a sheet of glass. The weather was mixed for that week with several days of rain. One day the car had a very thin film of dust sitting on the car and I thought I was getting some water spots,but when I ran my finger across the fender the dust came off with no spots on the paint. My car club had a cruise on Saturday and usually I wash the car on the day of the cruise night. Instead I washed the car on Friday night, and left it sit outside through Saturday uncovered and went to the cruise. Some of my friends couldn't believe it. 2 are corvette C8 owners who want their cars ceramic coated, but can't deal with the 2500 dollar fee. They took one look at my car and inquired about the website. They will be ordering. A church member is looking at ordering some for his Harley. Now I have a question for Ethos. My car club is having a Halloween cruise on October 10,2026, and a 50th club anniversary car show on May 16,2027. We usually pull in about 250 to 300 cars at each event. Could Ethos possibly donate some of there amazing product and literature for our basket raffles which all proceeds go to Dream Come True network. I will be talking up your product in the meantime as it seems to have generated a lot of interest. Thank you again for an amazing product
