I am an experience trader, international broker, with over 5 years experience in the international transfers industry as well as KYC processed for both corporate and personal accounting service. This will be an objective review of the Etana Service, considering my experience with them compared to other exchanges / companies / banks / custodial services. Etana is well positioned in terms of guaranteeing your privacy for digital assets, and the fact that they provide a custodial service will not necessarily flag you for dealing with crypto, which is a VERY positive side for Etana. Their support may be quite limited in certain cases due to the fact that they may prioritise customers with 100k + regular transfers (my view) therefore not putting enough recourses for 1000 USD transfers etc.. they do not work 24/7 so it seems, but in my case the overall customer service has been positive, on a scale from 1 to 10 I would give them 8 score because, although quite a few miscommunication emails happened, I value my privacy more than anything else. With regard to speed, they are definitely not the first one in the market, and their website definitely needs upgrades and a thorough review, but as far as I am concerned no funds have ever disappeared and I am transferring around 50-100k USD at a time ( that is maybe why I an looked after properly). When evaluating a digital asset services we need to take into consideration that the service itself may be having a tough time with regard to banking, due to most of the banks not supporting crypto at all. However this may not be an excuse for Etana to delay answers / approve/reject KYC applications, it is quite important to know this as a general rule. Personally I have been a customer since over 2 years now and I am keeping using it because they have a solid international structure in my view. I hope that they will bring changes forward to communication clarity and increase the customer service team, however it is hard since they don’t charge anything by for the transfers and that is another great point at their advantage.
