After using Etana option from Kraken for more than a year, they stopped working on July, 2020. 1 month after a withdraw I still don't have my money and they wash their hands saying that it's on the "corresponding bank's" side now.

They are not serious, they ask for unnecessary things, as if they were an intelligence agency, and in the end, it was difficult to log into the account.

Simply no response. I can't login in to my account. Customer service does not exist.

Etana is a horrible company.. 3 days after submitting the needed documents for verification and still didn’t hear from them.. they restrain me from signing in to their platform although I am totally sure of the email and passcode being used.. As a matter of assurance I did reset my pass code and they still block me from signing in.. I sent couple emails and they are ignoring...I dunno how to deal with them

I have signed up for Etana Custody do transfer money from Kraken. The customer service would ask some silly questions to which I would respond immediately and their average response time was 2 weeks. After 4 months of doing nothing they have requested to re-submit everything all over again (upload documents etc) because it has apparently too old. If you can avoid using Etana - do so.

100% a scam. Nothing more to say

Their compliance asked for information and documents. Once I obtained and provided it to them then they/their bank never finished compliance check nor never asked for any additional information within several months.

Etana Custody Ltd is a New Zealand (NZ) Shell Company with no actual employees in NZ. They have previously claimed to be licensed and regulated in NZ, but this is untrue. Given that Etana Custody is unlicensed and unregulated, there is no legal protection for anyone who uses Etana Custody for financial service. Anyone, anywhere in the world can register a company name on the NZ Companies Office register . All you need is an Australian or NZ resident to be listed as a director. There is nothing inherently illegal about registering a name on the NZ Companies Registers without actually operating a company in NZ. It's a known loophole that exists that continues to be exploited. The authorities in NZ are aware of Etana Custody. They were deregistered in 2017, and got themselves back onto the register in 2018. As indicated in the article referred to above, Etana Custody sought legal help from Auckland based lawyers Turner Hopkins to help them stay on the register.
