Classes are amazing! Instructors are wonderful. Amenities are the best around.... but the clubs do really seriously get overcrowded and gawd help you if you have a problem! Management will turn on you in a heartbeat… Threats in the whole 9 yards. I've been a member since 2015, and do really love these clubs… But I've noticed more locations getting rundown, and again… The management!

I love the overall vibe of Equinox, but there are two things that could be improved. First, the Pilates classes at the Bond St. gym are always packed, making it extremely difficult to secure a spot. Second, the equipment feels outdated and doesn’t quite align with the premium experience Equinox is known for.

First a positive, I love many of their classes. Stacked is incredible and there are some specific trainers at various locations where I have been who have amazing energy. I’m also a big fan of the chilled eucalyptus towels. Conversely, I was formerly a fan of their decades long partnership with Kiehls that recently came to an end. It has been replaced with a highly perfumed product. I don’t want to put perfumed products on my face and I don’t know anyone else who does either. This is why face moisturizers and the like are so rarely scented. I provided this feedback to the woman at the front desk at the Coral Gables, FL location and she went on a persnickety rant about how “everyone” loves it, it’s healthier, more natural and has received tons of positive feedback. It felt forced (she was annoyed by my feedback) and I doubt that’s true, so I just wanted to put it out there that the change has, in fact, been met with mixed reviews. It was enough to prompt me to move forward with putting my family on the waiting list for Lifetime around the corner.

Do you like crowded gyms where trainers take as much equipment as possible? Then this is the place!

They raised their prices by 10% and let in a ton of new people at the same time… a bit of a bummer. The gym is always clean but they could do some things to improve the experience. It is a luxury gym after all (at a luxurious price!)
