I recently visited EOS Fitness to inquire about membership options and was initially pleased with the employee’s information about the family plan. However, the final experience ended up being quite disappointing. The terms turned out to be different than what we had discussed, and I was unexpectedly charged three times. I hope they can improve their clarity and billing process so other customers don’t face the same issue. Now hoping they honor the following month for free on my 2 addons like they promised.

Cancelation policy its unfair
Since I started my membership, I have never even set foot in the gym because I injured my knee and was unable to use the facility.
I called to request that my membership be canceled and asked for a refund, considering I have never used the gym. Not only was my refund request denied, but I was also told I would be charged for another month after requesting cancellation.
This is extremely disappointing and feels completely unfair. I understand that businesses have policies, but there should be some consideration for customers who are unable to use a service due to a medical issue—especially when they have never used the facility in the first place.
I will not be a member of this gym again. If you ever find yourself in a situation where a medical issue prevents you from using your membership and you need to cancel, make sure you understand their cancellation and billing policies very carefully.
Very disappointing customer service and an experience I will not forget.

I cancelled the membership in April…
I cancelled the membership in April 2026 eos keep on charging me. I just happened to noticed and went to e ok s and spoke with so called manager marquis murphy and assistant manager named kris, and was assured by marquis that in couple of days he will credit back for 4 months, this morning I noticed a fraudulent charge of almost $35 on my visa, unauthorized. This place is fraud. Pls. Do not give any information to them. They cannot be trusted. Very very dishonest place to be at. I hope this place to be investigated by FBI for frauding it's clients.

1/5 — Pushy personal-training sales, “fitness-splaining,” and a cancellation that wasn't actually processed
I recently joined the EōS Fitness on E Guadalupe Rd/Rural Rd in Tempe. I actually liked the gym itself and its equipment selection, but my experience with the membership process and staff interactions created so much unnecessary frustration and ill will that I have now requested cancellation of all my EōS memberships and decided I would rather find another gym.
One of my biggest issues was my repeated interactions with Kiani regarding the fitness/personal-training program. I clearly said that I wasn't interested, but instead of simply accepting “no,” I felt repeatedly questioned and pressured about my decision.
He asked me things like “How will you reach your goals?” as though I couldn't successfully work toward my fitness goals without enrolling in their program. This was particularly irritating because I had already successfully lost about 10 lb on my own.
I explained that I normally exercise 5–6 days per week, doing approximately 10 minutes of cardio and 30–40 minutes of strength training. I was then told that this wasn't enough and that I should instead be doing around 30 minutes of cardio plus an hour of strength training.
My doctors and nutrition professionals have been supportive of the routine I've been following, and consistency rather than excessive intensity has been what actually helped me make progress. I wasn't asking for my workout routine to be critiqued. I was simply saying that I did not want to purchase a fitness/personal-training program.
Offering the program once is perfectly reasonable. What I found inappropriate was repeatedly questioning why I didn't want it, questioning how I would reach my goals, and “fitness-splaining” to me why my existing routine supposedly wasn't enough after I had already declined. “No, thank you” should have been enough.
Unfortunately, the membership issue that followed made the experience considerably worse.
I initially signed up online for Will Crush and shortly afterward decided that Will Power better suited what I wanted. I contacted EōS and then went to this location in person on September 3 specifically to cancel Will Crush and sign up for Will Power.
Kiani handled this and told me that Will Crush had been cancelled and that everything was “all set.” I left believing that the old membership was cancelled.
My app continued showing Will Crush, however, so I followed up. The next day, Olivia actually checked my account and told me that Will Crush was still active and had NOT been cancelled. She then submitted another cancellation request to management and told me that it was expected to be processed by September 9 or 10. My September 4 written correspondence documents that I had been told the membership was cancelled in person and subsequently learned that it remained active. I find it shady that they never send out confirmations for cancellations as per Olivia and seems like a deceptive practice to not be able to prove a cancellation.
What I find unacceptable is going to the gym specifically to cancel a membership, being told that it was cancelled and everything was taken care of, and then discovering afterward that the membership was still active.
This was also happening while I was within the cancellation/rescission period stated in my membership agreement. The agreement itself says that a member may cancel before midnight of the third operating day after receiving the agreement and is entitled to a full refund when cancellation occurs within that period.
Instead of a simple membership change, I have had to repeatedly follow up, submit online inquiries, call, return in person, send written cancellation notices and create my own documentation because I don't want to discover later that I'm being charged for memberships I requested cancelled.
At that point, the accumulated experience changed my opinion of the gym entirely. The repeated pressure and unsolicited “fitness-splaining” had already created considerable ill will, and discovering that a membership I was explicitly told had been cancelled was actually still active was the final straw.
I have now requested cancellation of all my EōS memberships. It's unfortunate because I genuinely liked the equipment, but I would rather find another gym than deal with a membership experience where saying “no” to an additional paid program isn't simply respected and where I have to repeatedly follow up to make sure a cancellation I was told was completed actually happened.

I canceled my personal training…
I canceled my personal training agreement approximately three months ago. I have repeatedly complained and instructed EOS to stop billing me. Nevertheless, they continue charging my Chase card $156 every two weeks and today (9/2/2026) you submitted 3x $156 charge totaling $468 . Today (9/4/2026) I received another charge of $156. I do not authorize these charges. I also demand formally immediate cancellation of my EOS fitness personal training agreement and a full refund of all personal training charges taken through my Chase credit card after I cancelled the service 3 month ago. Since that time I have repeatedly contacted the North Richland Hills EOS location and complained about the continued billing despite my repeated request that the charges stop but EOS/ABC fitness continues to charge my credit card $156 every two weeks. Today the situation escalated further. Three separate $156 charges were submitted to my Chase card on the same day totaling $468. Another $156 charge again on 9/4/26. I did not authorize these post- cancellation charges and I'm no longer receiving the personal training services for which EOS continues to bill me. Their own current personal training information states that a personal training program can be canceled with the 30 days notice. After the contractual term I provided notice approximately three months ago but billing has continued. I called the 888 8279262 multiple times with no answer to my questions. My chase bank sent a letter to EOS fitness to stop charging my account yet theypersist.

EOS Fitness it’s all about meeting quotas and ripping you off
EOS Fitness has poor online reputation. Google, Trustpilot, and the BBB are flooded with scathing reviews about their predatory, unethical, downright hostile customer service & billing practices. My experience is yet another example of their blatant disregard for decency: me and my wife were slapped with a bogus enrollment fee when we downgraded our memberships this is a transparent scam to pad their quotas. My contract makes no mention of these fabricated fees, and the email I received was worded like I was a new member. This is deception, plain and simple. Legally, all fees must be explicitly spelled out in the contract, but EOS chooses to operate in the shadows, relying on misinformation & intimidation. We go to the EOS Gym at 22314 FM 529 in Cypress, TX began 2/26/25, it’s clear they thrive on squeezing every dollar from members through whatever underhanded tactic they can get away with. Their General Manager of Sales, Jerimiah, couldn’t even be bothered to address my wife’s first attempt to downgrade he dismissed her outright, hiding behind an excuse about testing an employee asking her to come back another day. When she returned on 8/31/26, to downgrade, she was told a $49 downgrade fee would be applied ($53.04 with tax), which isn't in our contract. When asked for clarification, he replied, “That’s the way we do it here.” This is predatory, unapologetic, is infuriating. Jerimiah didn’t even know what card was on file. This gym treats its members like prey, not customers. Later that day I noticed a charge on my credit card ending in 0381 for my wife’s downgrade. This is outright incompetence or worse, deliberate fraud, since she pays for both memberships with her card. How can he charge my card without authorization. This circus of errors & deceit is what EOS represents. Their reputation for shady, dishonest practices is well-earned. Anyone considering this gym should be warned: EOS will do whatever it takes to extract more money from you, no matter how unethical.

Nathan Wilson - HORRIBLE manager
This was our first time at EōS Fitness, and unfortunately, it will also be our last.
We came specifically to support my husband while he competed in a bench-pressing competition. We had been in the facility for nearly an hour when the manager, Nathan Wilson, approached us while we were standing and told us to move. We complied. He told us to move again—we complied. He asked us to move a third time—we complied again.
Apparently, that still wasn’t good enough. That is when we were suddenly told that children under 14 were not allowed in the gym. This rule somehow became an issue only after we had already been there for nearly an hour and had complied with three separate requests to move.
After telling us about the age restriction, Nathan repeatedly emphasized that he was the manager, that he had the authority, and that we needed to comply or we would be removed from the gym. The interaction became unnecessarily confrontational when we had done nothing but comply with his requests.
The most disappointing part is that my children missed the opportunity to watch their father compete. That was the entire reason we were there, and that experience cannot be recreated or given back to them.
We will not be returning, recommending this location, or patronizing EōS Fitness in the future. An apology after the fact doesn’t give my boys back the experience they missed with their father.

Racism
Just read where a black employee quit because of racist remarks spoken to her. I applaud her and rest assured I will never step foot in an eos gym. I will not tolerate anyone being treated that way. The racist should be fired.
