Good engine, worked great. As a mechanic myself and installing this engine in my car, I recommend checking water pump and replacing it because mine was very corroded from water sitting in there other than that a little expensive but cheaper than most. And you also have to exchange your parts from your old motor to the new one for smog purposes and etc.

I got a great deal on my short block. Loved that they gave me tracking on my shipment as soon as it left their hands. The only thing I didn't like is when I received the block it was upside down on the head surface. I did plan to get the deck surfaced any way but would have liked to see the block in a better position than face down. Other than that it arrived better than expected and described.

Great product , easy to get and good customer service, had to call to get core charge back, three weeks or more after core drop off. Next day after call all was good with a friendly call to me. Yes would use them again . 1k into new motor all is great

The only reason I don't give a 4 star is because I would prefer their service extend to in-house installation rather than recommending shops that actually are not as professional as Engine world. Communication and product was as advertise. My expectations were met, but I had hesitation on where to bring my vehicle and newly acquired motor to be installed. I really had to "babysit" the shop to ensure the new motor being installed was as agreed on especially when my original motor was credited to my new motor purchase.

My experience with Engine World was good. They handled my purchase professionally and efficiently. The engine was delivered on time and as promised. Unfortunately, the engine I purchased makes a noise that the mechanic calls "piston-slap.". The cost of removing and replacing the engine was approximately 4 times the cost of the engine. Though the engine was warranteed or guaranteed, the cost of replacing it was prohibitive, thus I chose not to exercise the warranty. I have put approximately 8,000 miles on the engine without any problem, but I have no idea how long it will last.
