CBD is not for me...going back to THC. I was taking 5mg of thc to help me sleep through the night by controlling my hot flashes and heartburn which it did. I would wake up refreshed and energized. Well, my supply ran dry so decided to try 10mg of cbd...does nothing for me except makes me feel drowsy the next day.

Hi Barbara, It's great to hear that you're already a fan of cannabis medicine and knows what works for you. For those that do not have access, or do not like the effects of THC, CBD is a fantastic substitute and works well for many of our customers in its own right, As you've just described, CBD works differently for everyone. Sometimes it takes a a day to have an effect, sometimes weeks or even months. It really depends on the individual. It may also depend heavily on the dose you are taking. 10mg may not be enough for you, or perhaps it is too much in one go. We suggest starting with one capsule 2-3 times a day, or starting with 1 drop of oil 3 times a day, and working your way up slowly to find your perfect dose. I am disappointed not so much with the product itself but with the fact that the Endoca salesperson that engaged me into a chat talked me into buying "raw" CBD for insomnia. I had received an expert advice and insisted that I should buy the "pure" version of the oil. However, since the rep insisted that "raw" CBD helps with insomnia, I figured she knew the product and got persuaded into making a $120 purchase. I spoke today with that same expert, an owner of a dispensary, and found out that the reason while it does not work well for me is that "raw" CBD is for inflammation and thus pain while "pure" CBD is for anxiety and insomnia.

When it comes to CBD, everyone is different, so what works for one person, may not work for another and vice versa. The Raw versus heated debate depends heavily on the individual. In saying that, many of our customers find the heated version of our products provide a more calming effect, so we normally suggest this for people that want these effects. It is important to remember that when it comes to topicals, they have more localised effects than say our oils will, so depending on what you're using the CBD hemp body butter and Hemp salve for, it may not be the product for you.
