Great useful counselors to get your child on track. We used Empowerly as college consultant for our daughter after it was recommended to us by a friend. It was very helpful to have a counselor knowledgable in the college space, as we did not have much experience with American college applications. The counselor kept our daughter disciplined and on track, and took almost all the confusing work from our hands. Would highly recommned again.

Empowely offers a unique experience which cant be found anywhere else. Through one on one meetings and a large variety of recourses such as essay editors, data driven rubrics, and application review, empowely assists and evaluates students holisticly. Gelyna was a remarkable counselor and knows to work with and around the busy schedule of a high school senior. Thanks to her support and large efforts, I got either accepted or waitlisted to my top 10 schools including UCs and privates. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My counselor helps motivate me and is extremely knowledgable. He also helped me get into an AI program to build my resume. I also find the Empowerly Score tool very helpful.

When I first applied to college, I met with several counselors in hopes of finding a perfect fit to guide me through the transfer admissions process. It was not until I found Annalise that I felt confident in creating a successful application to the Ivies. Annalise, a Columbia alumna and former Ivy admissions officer, gave me detailed, thorough advice on crafting supplementals which aligned with the values of my dream school. She met with me sometimes for hours at a time to help me put together a winning application. When we asked her to surmise my chances of getting into my dream school, she provided a thorough, realistic evaluation based on my GPA, test scores, and the competitiveness of my chosen major. She even informed me on when to switch out passive writing for powerful, impactful language. As my experience with her comes to an end, I can honestly say I would not have been accepted into UPenn without her. Her counseling style is encouraging but also pragmatic and results-oriented. After a stream of disappointments in applying to college during the regular decisions season, I am so happy to have been accepted to UPenn as a transfer! I have had an excellent experience with Annalise, and highly recommend her to any potential applicant looking for success in the college admissions process. I trust that she and I will meet going forward to discuss course selection, transfer credits, and acclimating to my new school! I've met with many counselors and I can say Annalise is the best!

I joined Empowerly at the beginning of my college application process and was fortunate enough to be able to work with Eileen Bourgade. Initially, I was scared to show another person my writing, but Eileen made me feel comfortable and constantly encouraged me throughout the process. As a writer, I have a tendency to go off on tangents, but Eileen was always able to steer me back on track and help me refine my ideas. Our sessions were truly more of a free-flowing conversation rather than a rigid schedule, which allowed me the freedom to workshop ideas and gain a fresh perspective on whatever I was writing at the time. Working with Eileen, I also learned how to condense my sentences so that I could still effectively communicate my message while maintaining the interests of my reader. I am truly grateful for this experience, and highly recommend it to anyone about to begin applying to colleges.

I loved the attention that I got from Empowerly, as well as the coach I was assigned to, very professional and well prepared staff, the review team and the lessons were all on point, I felt always encouraged to write the next essay and the action items were always clear. 10/10
