We have had a great experience with Empowerly so far. The entire onboarding process was smooth and well organized. We especially appreciate the opportunity to meet with several matched counselors and choose the one who is the best fit for our son. The app also provides a convenient way to keep track of our college preparation journey. I particularly appreciate how the folders are organized, with documents, tasks, and materials all in one place. We also appreciate that team members are available to help research relevant information and present their findings in clear, well-organized summaries, making it easier for us to explore opportunities and make informed decisions. Most importantly, we feel very fortunate to work with Mr. Kndeya, who is so experienced and genuinely passionate about mentoring students. His advice is highly personalized to our son’s strengths, interests, and needs. He consistently offers thoughtful, targeted solutions and proactively suggests opportunities that align with our son’s interests and goals, rather than generic recommendations. What we especially appreciate is that his guidance goes far beyond college applications. He helps our son set meaningful goals, develop good habits, build routine (to read and listen to podcast), and make thoughtful decisions about his growth and future. I felt that his mentorship focuses not only on college admission but also on helping our son grow as a person, become more independent and confident, and develop a clearer sense of direction for the future. We also appreciate his accessibility and responsiveness. He constantly tells us that he is one email away to answer questions and generously offers to review materials, from our college visit list to internship reports and other documents. We are truly grateful for this level of support and his willingness to go the extra mile to help our son. Overall, we have an amazing experience with Empowerly so far.

My experience with Empowerly has been really great for college counseling. The portal and suite of tools, resources and services available are incredible and my counselor is also engaging, responsive, and has great guidance to make sure i’m on the right track.

Working with Empowerly and my advisor, Raisa, was an integral part of my college admissions process. She was always quick to respond, helped me translate my ideas into well thought-out essays, and, most importantly, exposed me to important college admissions strategies and formatting (i.e. for my activities list and extra info sections). Thanks in part to her support, I'll be enrolling at UPenn this fall, and I was also fortunate to earn admission to UMich, UVA and UNC. Thank you Empowerly and Raisa!!

Getting Shahrukh as my college counselor was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. When the college process started, my mom and I interviewed over 20 counselors but one stood out: Shahrukh. For the past two years, I’ve seen how Shahrukh has a way of being blunt and honest while also being super supportive. He helped guide my extracurriculars, coursework, and essays in a way that minimized my stress but maximized my productivity. Thanks to Shahrukh and his amazing guidance, I gained admission to Stanford University, as well as Johns Hopkins, UCLA, UC Berkeley, and many more. It would be a MISTAKE to not get Shahrukh as your counselor. He has my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

Staff at Empowerly were extremely responsive and helpful in engaging our son in preparing for college admission. Overall, Empowerly provided ample opportunities for start-up and interning experience that were important in preparing for college application. We were particularly impressed by Mr. Shahrukh Malik's valuable advice, relentless encouragement, and whole-hearted positivity in supporting our son during his pre-college journey. Kudos to Empowerly staff for making the college consulting process an enjoyable and useful experience.
