Elocal routes phone calls to your business and they claim that an area may or may not support your business but when you're a customer you'll get plenty of calls. The downside is that the calls are often low quality or unqualified. If you miss a call, you can't ask for a refund. All of this is just fine, but the staff is condescending and frankly I would have continued with them for the foreseeable future if it weren't for their attitude.

I gave eLocal three separate opportunities to earn my business, and unfortunately my experience repeatedly involved problems with deposits and refunds. On my first attempt, I canceled with approximately $2,700 remaining on deposit. After more than a week without receiving the refund, I disputed the charge through my credit-card company to recover my money. I later tried again and deposited another $2,700. Approximately one hour after completing setup, I was informed that air-duct lead pricing would increase from the approximately $65 I had been quoted to approximately $125, along with a larger deposit requirement. I canceled and again ultimately used a credit-card dispute to recover my deposit. About a year later, I decided to give eLocal one final chance after hearing positive feedback from other contractors. This time, they required a $4,200 deposit. They accepted my payment, approved my account, and activated service. Approximately one week later, I was informed that management no longer wanted my company as a customer because of my previous chargebacks. Those disputes occurred because of the difficulties I previously experienced getting my deposits returned. If my previous history was unacceptable, I believe that determination should have been made BEFORE accepting another $4,200 deposit. eLocal then canceled my account and disabled my access while I was still waiting for my unused funds to be returned. After three separate experiences, I have serious concerns about eLocal's handling of deposits, refunds, pricing, and account cancellations. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that potential customers get all pricing and refund terms in writing and carefully consider the amount of money they are willing to place on deposit.

Stay away! Their representatives are completely incompetent and dangerous to your business. Everything seemed fine initially, but as soon as we moved to high volumes, their catastrophic setup errors wiped out thousands of dollars from our balance. When the damage was done, their team completely defected—zero accountability. Five agonizing phone calls later, they still refuse to take responsibility. A devastating and unacceptable nightmare.

This was a very unexpected upgrade to my whole trip to the Riviera Maya. A friend tol me about it so i bought the elocalpass for a few days but after seeing all my saving i wnet and bogh the weekly pass and boy did we took advantage of it. From transportation to restaurants we got our money worth, we were actually just following theuir map to see where we would eat or shop in order to get discounts, totally worth it!

You can get some nice discounts in restaurants, and handicraft shops. Works really well if you're planning to do some shopping at the 5th avenue, because lots of the shops there accept Elocalpass. By buying a couple of shirts at a souvenir shop, they gave me a really nice beach bag as a gift.
