Sadly, the dress i ordered looked cheap. It was advertised as unlined, and has a doubled collar which shines through. In the pictures on the website it showed a champagne-rose and the dress i received looked pink-rose (elegant vs. cheap) plus the seams shine through when worn. Contacting them was tiring, and it seemed like they did not care - they sold their product and wanted me to go away. When i then tried to return the Product ElleSilk said that i could, but that i would have to pay the return shipping fees and that they would advise that i use tracked shipping which is about 45$ from Germany. The website did not (maybe still does not this was a few months back) state that they ship directly from China or that you would face such costs for returning the dress. The dress cost 150$ and as i said before i was really unhappy with the quality as it looked cheap. When i confronted the customer service (at this point I had been writing about 10 Mails back and forth) they said that everything "looked right on their surveillance tapes" So basically they are fine with selling cheap looking clothes. Also they stated that "taxes were paid" and marked the item as being at a lower value (about 20$ instead of 150$) in order to save that money. Don't buy their cheap products!

Although the silk used by this company is excellent their service is terrible. Recently, I bought two silk pj's from them. When I tried to exchange them for a different size I got the usual "busy due to Covid" story and until I insisted them to respond there was no action. If you ever think of exchanging or returning their products don't waste time go buy it from somebody. else.

I purchased two silk nightshirts for $300. I didn't realize that they were coming straight from China. I just want a smaller size. I emailed them with all of the information they requested and have heard nothing back from them on how to exchange the night shirts for a different size. There is no phone number to contact them.

They have a shady exchange policy. I used a discount code for my order. Unfortunately the size did not fit. I simply wanted to exchange the item and was told me that I could not exchange item for the same price that I bought it for, that the discount did not apply even though it is the same item as an exchange. Super Shady. Look for a company that will allow you to do exchanges without penalty ESPECIALLY when you are paying for the shipping.....

I have purchased a premium silk duvet cover that was on sale. I was greatly disappointed to receive a second hand, completely faded out duvet cover, which was clearly heavily used. I have sent email with photos to Helen, who represents this company in China and I was appalled with her response, refusing a refund or exchange as the item was on sale.

Terrible customer services. Based in China, poor shipping and VERY slow expensive returns. Still not had a refund even though my item finally reached them a week ago.

Poor cheap quality. Shipped from Chinese merchants you find on alibaba. This is not a quality product. Customer support at Ellesilk was unsupportive and there is not quality control. Shipped directly from white label Chinese producers.
