Should have read the 1-star reviews… bought reading lights described as offering ‘warm’ light. When they eventually arrived the light was so bright and cold that the guards at Colditz would likely think them a bit harsh. I’ve received the same nonsensical AI-generated rubbish emails about me spending €50 to send them to China if I want a refund. I see ‘Sarah’ bot is working on replies here too. What a depressing experience: a total waste of money and more to add to landfill. AI is destroying our lives 😞 AVOID

I ordered on line a FINGERTIP GLUCOMETER and await an extra long time for it to be sent to me . I received an OXOMETER . I NOTIFIED THIS COMPANY AND I WAS TOLD TO SEND PHOTOS OF THE oxometer TO VERIFY WHAT I RECEIVED IN THE MAIL BY MISTAKE OF THIS COMPANY . AFTER A VERY LONG TIME I WAS SENT A FINGER STICK REQUIRING GLUCOMETER WITH LANCETS, GLUCOSE STRIPS AND GLUCOMETER . I NOTIFIED THEM THEY SENT THE WRONG THING .THEY WOULD NOT HONOR MY REQUEST TO HAVE MY ENTIRE AMOUNT I PAID ON MY VISA CARD FOR THE FINGERTIP GLUCOMETER AND THE POSTAGE FEE THEY CHARGED ME. THEY REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY AND SAID THEY WOULD MAKE THINGS RIGHT BY OFFERING #1 receive 20% PARTIAL REFUND OR #2. GET A 60% STORE CREDIT . THIS IS UNACCEPTIBLE #1 I WAS NOT THE RESPONSIBLE PARTY WHO SHIPPED THE WRONG ITEM AND NOT JUST ONCE BUT TWICE . WHEN I ORDER AN ITEM ON LINE I EXPECT TO RECEIVE THE ITEM I ORDERED OR A REFUND WHEN THE COMPANY CAN NOT PROVIDE THE EXACT ITEM I ORDERED.

Product listed was for a knock off levis jacket with the s missing (our fault for not spotting it on the listing). Jacket ordered was a 2xl for my husband, which was too small even for my son who is a L/XL, upon inspection and checking measurements, the jacket sent had the measurements of a L but the jacket had a 2xl label on it. Contacted customer support to arrange a refund or exchange and was only given the option of a 20% refund or 40% credit note. Told if we want a refund we would have to pay £25 shipping to China! Upon further communication, expressing and proving photographic evidence of the manufacturer defect and their website claims of no hassle refund on defects, we were offered 60% refund or 80% credit or the shipping back at our cost. Found a support number which is registered to the Netherlands (that doesnt even work), and further research found that this company is notorious for selling forgeries and cheap defected clothing. Very dishonest company and practices, please stay away!

*Update: Still haven't heard back from the business or resolved the issue despite their response to my review. I hate to say it but it is a scam. I ordered a Helly Hansen jacket. What arrived was a completely different, unbranded jacket. I asked for a full refund straight away. Instead, I spent weeks going backwards and forwards while they offered 10%, then 20%, then 30% refunds and store credit. After repeatedly asking for return details, I was finally told I had to pay to send the wrong item back to China before they would refund me in full. This wasn’t a change of mind. They sent me something I did not order. Read the recent negative reviews before buying. My experience looks very similar to others. I would not buy from this company again.

Absolutely awful customer service with goods advertised from the uk & based in Netherlands. All look great on the website but what they send are cheap alternatives. Returns (if you want to return the incorrect substandard item) are to China at your own expense. Thats because they dont do refunds apparently!!!!! A store front for cheap items, substandard items. I was sent goods I did do not order but paid good, honest money for , only to be told i cant get a refund and I have to return items at my own cost!!!! Bloody rip off! DO NOT TRUST OR DEAL WITH THIS SITE. I have escalated the complaint after a month of trying to sort this out via email as they have a non recognised phone line. Im now losing patience & the will to fight my corner but im not giving up. My bank is now dealing with the issue!

I bought a portable drive from Ellese & Co. which turned out to be faulty and didn't work as advertised. I contacted customer service and provided photos and a video of the problem, as requested. I clearly told them that I didn't want a replacement and wanted a full refund. Instead, I've been offered a series of partial refunds and store-credit options. I've repeatedly declined these offers and explained that I want to return the faulty product and receive a full refund. Despite this, the same options keep coming back rather than my actual request being addressed. They eventually confirmed that if I want a full refund, I have to return the product to an address in China at my own expense. They estimated the return cost at €25–€50. Their own returns policy contains wording saying that defective products have “No cost to the customer”, while another part says that the customer pays return shipping. So even their published policy appears contradictory. Based on my experience, I'd think very carefully before ordering from Ellese & Co, especially if it's an electrical good.

The garments delivered today (3 weeks after ordering) bear no resemblance at all to what was advertised. I ordered a luxury knitted cashmere lounge set. What was delivered was a 95% polyester and 5% elastane, very cheap and nasty set. It is completely different to what appears on the website even today. It is horrible and I would never even try it on. This is completely fraudulent advertising. I'm disappointed I can't leave a zero stars review or worse. I have now received a response from ElleseandCo - I'm pasting their exact words below. This adds further evidence to my comments that they are complete frauds and scammers. "Thank you for sending the photos. We understand your concern regarding the garments received and how they differ from what you expected based on the website. Instead of going through the process of returning the item, we’d like to offer you two convenient options: ✳ Option 1: 10% Partial Refund You will receive 10% of your order amount back to your original payment method. You get to keep the item – no need to ship it back or wait for return processing. Or ✳ Option 2: 50% Store Credit Receive 50% of your original order value as store credit. Use it anytime on future purchases with us. These options are designed to save you time, effort, and shipping costs — while still acknowledging the issue and providing compensation." Further update - I have had numerous email exchanges with Elleseandco since posting my review. They insist that the garments are returned to an address in China but have provided insufficient details to meet Australian Customs declaration requirements so they can't be mailed. AI(?) staff at Elleseandco respond to my emails politely but there is no resolution. I am completely out of pocket for the nasty garments, seemingly without any way to resolve this. ** AVOID BUYING FROM THIS BUSINESS **

Total Rip-Off – Refusing Full Refund for Misleading Item! Avoid this company! I bought a raincoat that is completely different from what was advertised. I sent photos proving it doesn't match their website, but they refuse to give me a full refund. Instead, they have dragged out the process over countless emails, trying to force me into taking a partial refund or store credit, or demanding that I pay for return postage myself.
