I am reluctant to give this company 1 star - I am on a deadline to produce management figures and need to download reports from Elavon Connect. Elavon's website has now been down for 4 hours today with no access to the reports I need. This is just unacceptable.

This company is awful but they do not care about it, all monopolist companies are like this one. The only positive thing I have to say is their customer service, the agents are really helpful and professional but unfortunately they do not make any decisions. The more senior staff like their so called fraud team, mostly consists of arrogant female employees who are openly rude. As soon as I pointed this out and complained to them - my account was closed explaining that the company decided to close the account and that I haven't done anything wrong its just their procedures. Make your own conclusions but I will report them to FCA and would suggest anyone to stay away from Elavon in any country

Hidden Charges!!! I signed up with Eswipe for a Poynt credit card terminal and was told I'd be charged $25/month for leasing the terminal + any credit card processing fees when processing payments. Elavon takes out $40/month for minimum credit card processing +$15/month other fees which are a monthly fee for $5/month and a term care fee for $10/month. They also take out a Misc Payment fee of $31.20/month for a total of $71.20/month. I never signed up for your hidden fees Elavon...CONTRACT CANCELLED

I am totally disgusted by this company. I had a card machine with our RMS which would not work for my business and this was cancelled, Elavon still insist I owe them money for time when the card machine and transactions were not been used. I am now been sent a letter from debt collectors for an outstanding balance which I do not feel I should have to pay as no transactions were being made. They are being totally unhelpful. Financial Ombudsman is the next step to resolve this . Terrible company and customer service non existent!!

Please stay away from this card provider and all of their services. They have without notice cancelled all my card services accross 4 sites and caused nearly £50,000 loss for my firms. Despite cancelling they are still charging me for the services we are not receiving. I have put in an official complaint to the Financial Services Ombudsman. They are a rip off company.

I have given a one star as i cannot give zero. Frozen accounts and money taken from our customer payments with no communications or notifications available. We are in the process of moving and would not use this company again

I called because I was suspicious of a credit card we received and was told by Avalon and visa that if fraudulent they would not recoup the money from me. 3 weeks later Avalon withheld just over 32000.00 in order to dispute the 6500.00 that we had accepted from the bad card. The hold lasted for 7 days. They finally released partial funds holding 13000.00 and told me it would be another 20 days before they released another 6500.00. Visa said they are not requiring the original funds back so where is this money going and why are we shorted. Who fights for us in these cases?
