Hello to everyone impacted by this…
Hello to everyone impacted by this company. My story is similar to everyone else’s. They are indeed very much a criminal organization. This my solution. I met with my banks personal banking specialist and told her the my story of unauthorized removal of funds, not returning my calls etc.(I really called a lot and kept track of every call and every document was saved) (embarrassing story but was determined to end my anxiety) she she logged complaint with the organization that handles these matters. I’m sorry I don’t remember the name (I will find out, but it may vary between prov to prov or state to state or country to country. But ask.). She did say they pretty much have me by the balls. But these complaints cost them money to respond to. She suggested opening a new account that they don’t have access to. Then wait for a response. I ignored all there threats for money but kept all the papers. About two months later all corespondce stoped. When I told the bank specialist she was surprised
But said better wait someore. It’s been it’s been additional 6 months. So I’m hopeful. I will try to get more information.

If I could give negative stars I most…
If I could give negative stars I most certainly would. All was well with Elavon until 2/21/20 when I experienced a chargeback of $8034.19! Elavon told me that the issue would be rectified immediately on that date. Elavon now on April 1 2020 STILL has not removed this $8034.19 chargeback!!! The company just tells me it's in the hands of Amex. Elavon has additionally kept $4768.20 in other credit cards processed through Elavon hostage in a supposed reserve account and is now squeezing my bank for payment. Elavon is totally not the credit card processing company for any small buisiness as they have NO CUSTOMER support whatsoever. Elavon is out for Elavon ONLY f--- the client is their motto! Elavon is a criminal organization out to beat the small business owner at every step of the way! If your are smart go to Intuit payment solutions through quick books. I highly recommend them as they stand by their clients .

Terrible.. They sank my starting business with holds with no warning..
This was an incredibly heart wrenching experience.. We had just started our business as an e-commerce store and opted for Paytek which is a re-seller to Elavon processing. BIG MISTAKE. We got our merchant account quite seamlessly and started getting deposits next business day and it was looking OK, until they decided they needed to see our products, our storage, our offices in photo, until they we can prove any of these things they will hold all funds. Fine, no big deal, we sent them everything they asked for and things were running again. They said the held funds would be released as soon as they approved our proof of product, but they lied, once everything had been approved and they said funds will be released, we did not see any funds being released or even any new sales deposited for a whole week! CRAZY I KNOW BUT IT GETS WORSE. Once we contacted them saying why they did not release our funds and continued to hold our sales even though we were told things would be released, they said they had to hold a reserve up to $4800 in order for us to safely process with them (this was not in the contract), Okay, so you tell us everything is good and once we start accepting sales through elavon again you continue to hold until there's enough money to their liking to hold? F$#K this is very frustrating, but at this point we have come so far and figure okay, we will just have to run negative for a bit but at least we can now continue and focus on scaling the business.. Wrong! in the next month we had about 450 orders roughly, apparently of those 450 orders we had 2 charge backs which was completely unknown to us (but still under 1% which was their limit). They decided to not let us know at all from Monday to Thursday and on Friday they told us because of the charge backs we have decided to hold more funds, this time it was a bit shy of $10,000.00.... now they had close to 15k of our funds and wont release it for 6 months.. now we are completely screwed.
My advise is to shop around carefully for a merchant processing service that has a reputation to back itself, it can really make or break your business. These holds without notice are very extreme and can leave a starting business in a terrible situation (like I am in now). Save the hassle and avoid Elavon, you will thank me later.

All I can say is that I wish I read…
All I can say is that I wish I read these reviews first before signing on with Elavon. I can now relate to almost everything prior to my review.

Was with them for over 10 years
Was with them for over 10 years. Our cumulative rate (that's all transactions) was around 3.5%. Over the years it climbed to 4% so I would call and complain then they would drop it a bit. It then got over 4% so I left them for TSYS. My last statement was 5.45 %. Guess they showed me. You would think they would treat a long term customer better than that.

Similar to others i've experienced…
Similar to others i've experienced devastating Holds on Funds that i need for my Ecommerce Business, Almost 5,000 being held for 90 days due to me simply changing my Domain name. This has put a huge strain on my business as i need those funds to fulfill orders and keep my business flowing. I would recommend that no one use this Payment processor and look elsewhere. Or else you might end up in a similar situation as me. Only Positive i would say is that the agent i spoke with regularly was nice and tried her best and help me, but their systems aren't suited for Ecommerce Businesses and the people who are higher up don't care about the situations they put their customers in. I especially don't recommend anyone who's dong Ecommerce selling online and regularly see spikes in revenue.
