If I could give zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, this company steals money from its own customers unashamedly. GO ELSEWHERE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Never respect the rates that they gave me. Don't want to give back money. Additionnal fees that totalized 4.5% overall fees on my transactions and they promised me 0.92% on MC and 1.25% on VISA. BUT, they don't tell you that there's additionnal fees on worlwide credit card, on cards that gives points, etc. They told me no additionnal fees on the internet platform, that was not true. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

Their customer service sucks. You can be a loyal customer for years and they don’t care. No personalized attention for anyone.

I don't recommend Elavon at all! Here's my story: I have an online store for other businesses and I purchased a merchant account with Elavon for processing credit cards from our customers online. I don't know if it is Elavon Canada or Elavon US, but I believe they are the same. My account is with Elavono.com and the email I recently received recently is from "Elavon, Inc. 7301 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN". They have done whatever security checks they wanted and asked an additional form from me, which I filled. They had set up the credit card processing for my business account and used it for several months. Although there was issues at times and we needed to refresh the page to go through, it was okay. Then, right before running our campaigns to attract users, I received an email from them saying: "Your account came up for a brief security review and unfortunately after reviewing the account I must say we will not be able to process for this business. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The account will be closed effective today"!!!!! This was insane! They charged me set up fees, plus $48 CAD per month. I sent an email and asked for clarification but did not received a response up to now. Later, when I called them and asked for the reason, they said they would not be able to tell me! The customer service is unsatisfactory and disappointing. The service is unreliable. They didn't reply to my email and I couldn't call them. They messed up our plans for an internal reason that even they can't tell me. If they cannot keep my account, they must refund all the money they charged me during these months, plus the set up fee. This is not including the damage to my business. My experience with their service has been terrible. Due to them, my business suffered a lot and fell behind schedule. I would not go close to any Elavon name in the world.

Jeg har al dokumentation Deres primære kunder er restauranter og pizzeriaer .. så kender du en der har denne terminal som vist på billedet så bed dem kontakte mig De 3 ansatte jeg har været i kontakt med er svindlere og alle deres tlf numre er hemmelige Du kan ikke ringe til dem via firmaets tlf nr da det ikke virker Vi må have dem stoppet nu Det er øjensynligt en svindel der foregår i hele Norden Dette er Dem jeg har været i kontakt med men forgæves Direktør Patrick sagde at han ringede til Norge Altså Elavon men forklarede mig at han ikke forstod norsk, så De måtte slå over i Engelsk . They will held your funds for no reason, Elavon Canada is no different, their main team is in Knoxville, TX and they will hold your money for no apparent reason. These kind of businesses shouldn't be allowed in Canada as these make small business suffocate.
