TERRIFIC LUXURY BRAND WITH LOTS OF GLITCHES
In general, I value EF's mission as a retailer--sustainable and so on. However, the quality and sizing of this luxury clothing brand is inconsistent. Some garments are wonderful--soft organic cotton, tensel, mixed blends. Some materials are awful. Clearly, there's a lack in quality control. I own much less expensive clothes that last many years while some of EF's don't last at all. I buy 90 percent of items online because its stores are quite small and have little sale inventory, which is all I buy. The sizing is inconsistent. I buy M or LP but never know how pants will fit. Tops, I have bought MP, S, M. I have RARELY been able to connect with customer service when I call. It's a return phone call, which they always do. Staff at my local EF are accommodating and cordial. EF website is the worst as has been mentioned by another reviewer. I have pointed out the problems, but, obviously, they could care less. JJill's website would be a role model for them. Finally, their marketing approach is odd. The sales are often fabulous with as much as 70 percent off, but the windows aren't wide and same items revert to a much higher price. It takes know-how and time to find an item at my price point. Nonetheless, my wardrobe since the pandemic is made up of mostly EF combined with JJill (much less expensive).
