Long time member with excellent credit…
I have been a member of Evergreen credit union since 2012. I have excellent credit a score of 813, and wanted to get a personal loan to consolidate my credit cards Into one payment. I was told that I would have to close all of my credit cards in order to get this loan. Are you serious?! Anyone who knows how credit works knows that if you close your credit cards out it drops your score tremendously. After all these years, I am going to be closing out my account with Evergreen as they have not helped me or my husband with any type of loan needs in the past few years, even with stellar credit! And it’s not like we have five dollars on the account we have thousands of dollars on deposit with them!

Good luck getting a loan
This bank only want to do business with high income folks. I applied for a auto loan and they approved it but once they saw I was a disabled veteran they pulled out. The had all my income and all they needed for the loan. Credit was approved they just didn't want to be seen with the middle class I guess.

Auto Loan
Applied for an auto refi loan at the Windham location two weeks ago and have left 5 voicemail messages for the person I was dealing with and to date those messages have never been returned. Very poor customer service.

Disappointed
I was very disappointed to be denied a credit card from Evergreen. We successfully paid our boat loan with them and were looking for a good credit card to transfer a higher interest one. We are homeowners with no mortgage who have been with Evergreen for 5 years. Maybe it's because we are retired?

NEVER TRUST EVERGREEN CREDIT UNION
NEVER TRUST EVERGREEN CREDIT UNION. My ex wife was the target of a dental scam in a foreign country. She was coerced into signing a document agreeing to an evaluation, and coerced her into charging what she told was a nominal fee for the evaluation. Instead they charged her around $500 on the Evergreen account and instead of protecting us, this is what Evergreen said... "Good morning Peter, I spoke with (ex-wife) yesterday as you know, she told me that she found out after her visit that some of the services that dentist did were covered by her dental plan, and she believes she shouldn’t have to pay them. I am sorry she had a bad experience with them, I recommended xxxx file a complaint against the dental office. I understand she may be apprehensive to go to the police, but if you are saying these aren’t her signature this is now a legal matter. (Ex-wife) did mention reviews, reviews are not something we can use in disputes. At this time this case is closed."

I tried to add an outside banking…
I tried to add an outside banking source and the website stated that a transfer was made for a specific amount and to confirm the amount; however, the transfer was not made.
