Hello Sir, We are very sorry that you experienced an open FedEx envelope upon arrival to your location. We take these matters very seriously and only receive open envelope/package cases once or twice per year, out of 10's of thousands FedEx envelopes sent out. I have been investigating this incident that the FedEx Package would have had to be opened by FedEx personnel. The only reason I state this is that only FedEx employees handled your envelope. I also noticed that you had the Packaged held for pick-up at; FedEx Office Print and Ship Center (Hold for pickup) Annapolis, MD 21401 To support my statement that the envelope could have only been handled by FedEx personnel, I am showing the following chain of delivery as being; 12/12/2016 - Monday 6:36 pm Delivered CROFTON, MD 9:00 am At local FedEx facility CROFTON, MD 7:47 am On FedEx vehicle for delivery CROFTON, MD 6:08 am At local FedEx facility CROFTON, MD 12/10/2016 - Saturday 8:33 am At local FedEx facility CROFTON, MD 8:33 am At local FedEx facility CROFTON, MD Package not due for delivery 6:12 am At destination sort facility BALTIMORE, MD 3:37 am Departed FedEx location MEMPHIS, TN 12:30 am Arrived at FedEx location MEMPHIS, TN 12/09/2016 - Friday 6:13 pm Left FedEx origin facility ST GEORGE, UT 3:14 pm Picked up ST GEORGE, UT 1:16 pm Shipment information sent to FedEx We are most interested to know if a FedEx employee in the Crofton,MD depot may have tampered with the FedEx Package. As a FedEx policy, opened envelopes are managed differently and usually a case is opened and the addressee is called and advised of his package being opened. After calling the local FedEx Crofton, MD location my investigation has not turned up any confirmations that show tampering existed for your envelope.
