Edmentum is bad and you should not enroll your child there. I joined Edmentum during the pandemic because I told my Mom I was getting bullied didn’t want to go back to school. So, she enrolled me into Edmentum hoping i receive a better education online. I was in 8th grade at the time and for the most part it went by fast and easy. I passed onto the 9th grade and that’s when it started to become difficult for me, whenever I needed help my teachers wouldn’t provide explanation they’ll just say “do your best” “use your resources” which didn’t help me at all. As a teacher you’re suppose to help your students become knowledgeable on the subject which they didn’t. It’s very unprofessional, at the end of my 9th grade course there was a hold back on our grades because “their system was down?” How as a school is your system down from showing students their grades? I’ve never experienced that in my life. And last, the grading techniques that they use are terrible, you can submit 10 tests and receive 100s (A) on them and your grade will only go up 2-3% which makes absolutely no sense because at traditional school my grade would’ve gone up drastically. Parents, don’t enroll your kids into this school. Edmentum was very stressful for me and I didn’t learn anything! They don’t teach your kids they just assign homework and tell them to use their “resources” to pass. I will now be attending traditional school where teachers actually teach and grade you on your performance.

Edmuntum's Spanish program is the most atrocious thing i have ever attempted, it constantly skips vital key words and bits of information and leaves its questions so vague, a good example is a common activity is "finish the conversation" where in the opening lessons where you do not know ANYTHING about spanish, they expect to not only read the whole conversation in spanish, but to reply back and finish the conversation.

No point in doing it, doesn't help at all.

I wish I could give Edmentum a 0 or negative star review. As a parent with a HS and elementary student enrolled in this program through their local school district, I can't even express how disgusted I am with the program. The teachers take literally weeks to reply to a question when emailed about it, the work is not age nor grade appropriate, there are continuous grammar/spelling mistakes, the format is terrible, it is impossible to look at grades for the elementary students the way they are set up. I could go on and on, however, I will leave this with, if Edmentum is on your radar, RUN.. find another program. Your kids would learn more and better by watching YouTube videos than attending this "School".

This program is absolutely awful. Kids study, then do chores, and take a test on some other topic they no very little about. There are no simple solve for formulas and the story problems once again are found no organization. The “text” book is so disorganized my teacher couldn’t help me either. Not user friendly, not student friendly, promotes truancy because nobody CC can understand what to do! DEFINITELY FORGET ABOUT ACCURATELY tracking your hours. Not going to happen and the teachers do NOT BELIEVE YOU. EDMENTUM SUCKS AND TEACHERS ARE ZERO HELP

It just sucks ok you don't need to pin the (0,0) coordinate thee is zero flexibility in edmentem i know its a program and not a person but there needs to be a liitle tiny bit of flexibilty

I'm currently a student taking edmentum, and I'll do my best to be fair in this review. So how you learn topics is through "tutorials" which are basically slideshows. Now the information contained is pretty good, but how it's being represented is just awful. Learning through the material is very hard if you don't have your parents helping you explain the information. Not only that, but learning the lessons are very time consuming if you want to stay on pace. Most tutorials have guided notes. They can be easy to fill out or very hard and time consuming. Its really a 50/50 chance. I wouldn't use the guided notes to study for the end of semester tests though, just use them to make your own notes. Speaking of tests, every unit has a post test, and at the very end of the course there is an end of semester test. They take forever to complete, especially the end of semester tests. It's about 50+ questions, which is way too much in my opinion. You do have teachers, but in my experience all they do is grade activities and are there just too ask any questions. That's it. I wish there was more teacher engagement in edmentum, because with in person learning there's some sort of relationship you build with your teachers. With edmentum, it doesn't feel like that which disappoints me. Overall, edmentums not really engaging. I don't feel motivated to learn because all these graded activities are unengaging, and time consuming. Same with the tutorials. Just looking at a screen, reading and writing. That's about it. I understand that's it is more difficult to make remote learning engaging, and I wish that edmentum will improve as time goes on.
