I’m on a tight budget and Ecwid is a fairly good platform for my small business. I had one experience so far with customer service and it wasn’t stellar. If you need more than basic help then it’s best to go with a service or get a friend to help.

Happy with Ecwid, easy to set up and edit and the help desk is quick to respond. Thank you.

Ecwid gives my online shop a professional appearance which I could never achieve by myself, given my modest programming skills. As a small business with small margins I just wish it was a little cheaper.

I have been use this for few years, in general pretty good response to any problem. It is comfortable to use with easy to manage the store.

A fantastic, straightforward way to get an ecommerce site up quickly. It's highly extensible, and much can be tweaked through code alone. Ecwid's API means integrations can be coded for almost any setup (if you have the knowledge), and customised to suit. My biggest gripe is that many features you'd expect an e-store to have by default come via paid subscription apps (even some basic ones like back in stock notifications), or via Ecwid's developers. This can be expensive for small businesses, and can push the costs through the roof. Grip aside, it's a brilliant way to start selling online, with little fuss or tech skills. But, it has to be said that the absolute stars of Ecwid are its support staff; they're knowledgeable, incredibly helpful, and always go the extra mile to help with setup, support, styling - you name it.

I LOVE the help call for help option and have used it a few times as I have been setting up my store.

ecwid.com does not background check the stores set up on their site. So buyer beware.
