Andrew (.
I have been using Ecwid from the week it was launched.
I have been selling online for over 21 years. I have been using Ecwid since 2009 (the year it was launched). Over that time I have tried other major ecommerce platforms (more recently BC, SF, WC and others), but they never seem to be as flexible as Ecwid and I always have come back to Ecwid. Ecwid is very intuitive to use. 8 years ago I got my son to see if he could use it without any guidance from me (he was 10 at the time). He was able to add a listing and category with no problem whatsoever, the shipping and payment integrations were more difficult back then so he struggled with them. However Ecwid listens to customer feedback and they are constantly adding new features and upgrading existing ones. The integrations my son was unable to do many years ago are now fully automated. With any software you use, customer support is key. If you have a question you can use the Ecwid free chat support and you get an answer quite quickly. If the support staff can't provide an answer immediately, they get back to you via email. I wanted to do something Ecwid is very flexible and with some VERY basic knowledge of how Ecwid works, you can do some amazing things with it. For instance I have adapted it to sell tickets for events (something it was never designed to do). Plus you can add it to almost any website and you get a standalone web store as well that you can use. I almost forgot you can also use Ecwid to sell through Facebook and Instagram and link Ecwid to a number of different online marketplaces. If you are a programmer/developer, the development team are VERY helpful. Still not sure give a try, after all there is a free plan (has limited features) to get you started.
