My house was built in approx. 1930 and it has an old brick fireplace that is no longer used, but has remained for decorative element. Considering its age, moisture most likely got to the mortar and the sand grains crumble at the slightest touch. I discovered the ECOS Stabilizing Solution from a earth-friendly blogger and I have to admit - I was a little skeptical at the claims of stabilizing the brick at first. I applied the solution with a brush and it was a little messy due to the thinness of the solution, but clean up was a cinch. I was afraid too that the solution was going to change my brick to a darker color as it appeared to do so when it went on wet, but this was not true. My brick dried back to the original color that was on it. It dried quickly and it most definitely stopped all the crumbling that I had before application. I am so happy to have found an earth-friendly, solution for my crumbling brick - especially since this is in my small son's bedroom. I am so happy I found ECOS Paints and will definitely use them again as well as recommend ECOS to my friends!

I found Ecos online when searching for pet-safe paint for my guinea pig habitat. I didn't know which would be the safest for my piggies so I contacted them via email. I received a very quick and knowledgeable answer in less than 24 hours. The paint was shipped and received very timely. I highly recommend them!

This paint is amazing. My wife is an allergic asthmatic with multiple chemical sensitivity. We have to be very careful about what we use in the house for cleaning, painting, etc. This paint has absolutely no smell or chemical fumes and my wife had absolutely no reaction or sensitivity to it. I will never buy paint from the store again (unless it's ECOS).

Love this paint.... Love not worrying about harmful paint fumes and VOCS. My rooms look beautiful. They custom matched colors exactly. About to do my grand-daughter's room in sky blue. I'm an artist and also am going to use their paints for larger murals.

When I placed my floor paint order, I mistakenly told them I wanted an Ecos paint color and that I wanted it color matched to a bennie moore color - they quickly emailed me and called my house phone to clarify. Paint arrived well packed in strong shipper with biodegradable packing peanuts - but my Fedex branch still managed to damage one gallon from the shipment. Notified Ecos about the problem on a Thursday and they overnighted a replacement which I received by Saturday. Haven't tried the paint yet, but customer service has been fantastic.

1. Very poor coverage in light color paint - needed 4 or more coats. 2. No clean-up information on can. 3. Paint is thick and cannot be thinned (per can instructions), therefore cannot be sprayed and leaves brush marks. 4. Website does not allow adequate review of paint palette.

Thanks for making a great product available. It is nice to have healthier options available for home improvement.
