These people make a premium-quality product for a reasonable price. If you care about VOCs (you should!), I know of no better product line. I have used their paint, stain and varnish all with excellent results. I am a loyal customer now!

I am just a novice painter so I do not have a lot of painting experience but I chose this paint because it appears to be the most eco friendly on the market and I have 3 young children. The paint was delivered in a reasonable time frame and had a very light scent. I was able to help my husband paint despite my sensitive pregnancy senses because the scent was so mild. The quality was great and we plan to purchase more!

It's a good thing I bought a little jar and tested it on a piece of scrap before using it on my project. The stain is really not a stain it's simple tempra paint that dries very quickly. If one dilutes it way down one can use it like a stain but since there is no pretreatment for the wood it raises the grain and is absorbed extremely unevenly. I was enthusiastic when I read about this product and I sincerely wish I could be more so now.

This comment is not about the paint itself but the color fan deck. For those who are chemically sensitive be aware that the fan deck has a very strong smell. It is outside off-gasing while I wish I could be picking color. The only way I can look at it is when I place it in a transparent bag which is kind of sad. I know that this is a paint company or not a printing company that is why I still ordered some paint to test out but it is somewhat ironic giving the apparent interest in good air quality and toxicity.

The varnish is wonderful. Goes on smoothly and hardly any smell at all. Great product!

We purchased the WoodShield Interior Satin Varnish for an indoor project. We are highly sensitive to the fumes of other products - polyurethane etc. The piece looks like a work of art with absolutely no offending odor.

I did not think a paint like this existed! Exceptional in ALL ways! I am so grateful to have found it. Not only could I use it in my home, but I could paint with it myself. (I am extremely sensitive to all chemicals). Thank you ECOS PAINTS!

I have used your stain and varnish products multiple times as a professional woodworker, and found these two products to be of excellent quality and very user-friendly. Quick dry times is an added benefit.
