Sometimes, due to packaging and overseas transit, human hair can retain a scent that fades after washing. We do recommend gently washing the hair before use. You can soak it in a mixture of warm water and a few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar for 10–15 minutes to help neutralize any odors, then follow up with a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. Let the hair air dry completely, and it should be fresh and ready to install. If you have any other questions or need help along the way, we’re here for you! 💌
