Most customers find that 2–3 bundles are usually enough for a full install, but for fuller looks like boho braids or voluminous styles, 4–5 bundles may indeed be needed. Over-processing can sometimes affect how the hair absorbs color, which may cause it to only take a light tint and show unwanted tones like green or red. However, color-treated hair can sometimes behave differently from natural black due to the chemical processing involved, which may result in dryness or increased tangling if not properly moisturized and maintained.
