Dear Kimberly: This fine ear plug is only meant to be inserted against the ear opening (until you feel it seal); and surely not pushed so far into the ear canal that it is difficult to get out! As so rare as this is; to have a customer push the ear plug so deep into the ear and have it be so difficult to remove, means that we should consider including a video on our website showing how to insert and remove this fine ear plug. We are an honest company that invites and publishes ALL reviews (whether they be positive or negative) for we want our customers to know as much as possible about our fine ear plugs and make an informed decision based on all the reviews.
