Being a very light sleeper, it has been difficult getting any sufficient lengthy sleep. We all snore. However, my wife and dog have kept me up tossing and turning on numerous occasions. Your Worlds Finest Ear Plugs have given me back the sleep I need. By far, what a tremendous product! I am also a drummer and the plugs completely eliminate the high pitches created from cymbals. Two most important words......THANK YOU!!

Dear Eboni: Our all natural ear plug is made from Beeswax, Cotton & Lanolin. We provide along with each order, a small card that says "How to Insert" & "How to Remove". Eboni, Just prior to inserting one must (work or knead) the ear plugs between their fingers or hands for 15 seconds, to make the ear plug soft, moldable and to disburse the pure lanolin throughout the ear plug. Eboni, you have the highest Blocking ear plug in the world there. Please follow these instructions: After kneading it for 15 seconds, then (push and flatten) the ear plug (in and against) your ear opening (until you feel it seal). Then listen to the silence! The ear plugs need to be a bit 'tacky or sticky' to be able to stay securely in your ear canal and really block out alot of sound. Afterward preparing and inserting it correctly, please feel free to write again and amend your first impression. If you would like us to walk you through inserting it, just phone us at 800-226-1884. I found the plug in my right ear kept coming out of place. I was snorkelling so the snorkel and google band may have had some fault in that I'm not sure? Fortunately there was only a small perforation in that ear which I think has since healed. The left ear plug and most important one, as I have a 2mm perforation in that ear, stayed in place for most of my swims, until I made the mistake of diving down to pick up something from the sea bed and the pressure change caused a partial dislodgement of the plug, enabling water to pass through the perforation. I got out of the water asap and did my best to try to drain the ear. That was not good, but on the whole I am pleased, because if not for these ear plugs I would have not been able to enjoy the amazing experience of snorkelling over the Ningaloo Reef. : )

Dear Jill: For sealing, this is the finest ear plug in the world! That particular ability to seal completely is what makes our ear plug so safe for swimmers with ear problems. The reason that the ear plug came out is because you didn't (push and flatten) it against your ear opening (firmly enough). If you did you would have felt the ear plug SEAL the ear. Jill, we put Pure Lanolin into the ear plug to make it slightly 'tacky' so that it intentionally stays securely in the ear canal at all times. Definitely try again, but this time be sure to (push and flatten) it firmly in and against your ear opening so that it SEALS THE EAR! Most sincerely Mary-customer service

Wearing the ear plugs caused sweat to build up, becoming a breeding home for fungi. After seeing an ENT Dr. To manage ear fungus, infection and pain. We were instructed to discontinue use of the ear plugs. Until plugs are developed that can ventilate and remove moisture yet still block sound. We do not recommend these plugs.

Dear Elizabeth: Your assertion and your doctor's assessment are totally incorrect. You say that you want a 'ventilated' ear plug and have it 'block out' sound or seal out water. That is unrealistic and surely unnecessary. Jill, our fine ear plug already comes protected with a 'natural protectant' that makes it totally anti fungal, anti bacterial and anti microbial. I've been wearing this magnificent all natural ear plug every night for the past 12 years and we presently have over 5 million daily users around the world. Never in the 12 years that I have been with the company has anyone ever associated our ear plug with 'fungi' or stated that the ear plugs caused sweat to build up in the ear. I personally have never experienced any moisture buildup in my ear canal during or after wearing our ear plug. In fact for me, its been one of the best experiences that have happened in my life. For I can sleep every night in peace. If you have moisture in your ear canal, then I would assume that you most likely have a fever. Now, more important then the reality about our ear plug, is your satisfaction with our ear plug. That is most important to us. I use the blue earplugs mainly for sleeping with my husband and his CPAP machine. The noise it makes drives me crazy and I can't sleep. The blue plugs give a great seal EVERY time and are comfortable to insert and wear all night. Other plugs were very difficult to insert into my ear canals and get a good seal against the noise, and were very uncomfortable to ear while sleeping on my side. I also use the blue plugs for mowing the lawn. Again, because they are SO EASY to insert, and they protect my hearing from the mower noise.

These earplugs feel somewhat like plasticine. Roll them between your fingers into a conical shape and insert for very effective noise-blocking. They can be used multiple times.
