These ear plugs will not leak, the only downside is that they do leave a blue residue/particles when removed.

Dear Mario: To eliminate any residue, simply (work or knead) the ear plugs for 15 seconds just before inserting. That will combine the ingredients and no residue will be left. Mary-customer service

They work very well and are comfortable, esp if you cannot tolerate latex earplugs. The are not MORE effective than latex, however. I read they produced complete silence in reviews over and over.. that you'd hear nothing. They are very good, but I think these reviews caused me to develop unrealistic expectations. They are JUST as effective as the latex ones I use every night, and I will buy more to avoid too much latex exposure and hopefully prevent development of eventual latex allergy. For comfort and ease of use, I still prefer the 32dB rated latex earplugs.

I love these earplugs! They block out most sound, even my husband snowblowing our driveway and mowing the lawn while I am sleeping. I work nights, so it is important that I have it pretty quiet. I would recommend these over the foam plugs. The quietness is much better, and they last much longer than a pair of of the foam ones. The foam ones lose their coating and no longer work after a few uses, whereas these will last for a long time, I'm thinking. I have only had mine for a little over a month. I put them back in the case every time I am done with them. I was also able to divide one in half, and found that that was enough to block out sounds, so it was like getting two pairs for the price of one! I just purchased the one pair to try them out, but will definitely be ordering more when I need to.

Eliminates +/_ 90% of unwanted noise. The remaining 10% is greatly reduced. Plugs are comfortable and easy to use. Best I have found anywhere.
