Dear Thelma: You should be getting from 30-40 wearings from each pair. Our (ultra-high blocking) ear plug is the same as it has always been, but If you are getting less wearings, it means that your body is absorbing the pure Lanolin from the ear plug. Thelma, you can easily fix that by simply working into each ear plug just ONE drop of Pure Lanolin Oil. Lanolin Oil is very nourishing for the skin. That will refurbish the ear plug like new again. Dear Sherry: I can personally relate to that. When I started using our ear plugs ten years ago, I had the same experience trying to decide how big or how small to make the ear plug to fit in my ear. Most average size adult women pinch off about one third and insert just two thirds of the ear plug in each ear. Dear D. Gallarda: Yes, for about 1/2 or 1 % of our new customers, our ear plug is a new and unusual experience. It's not hard at all. Do not be afraid of this ear plug! It is completely safe. Simply soften it between your fingers. I'll explain more thoroughly below. D. our ultra-high blocking ear plug is surely not made from foam, whereas foam is meant to expand in the ear, and then it's supposed to block out. ????????????????????????????????? Our magnificent ear plug is made mainly from Beeswax, and just prior to insertion, one needs to (work or knead) the ear plugs between the fingers or hands for 15 seconds, to make the ear plugs soft and moldable. As one works the ear plug, the Lanolin gets disbursed throughout the ear plug and the ear plug becomes soft and moldable, like dough. Then you push it a bit firmly, In and AGAINST the ear opening until you feel the ear plug SEAL. Then listen to the silence! Lanolin is nurturing for the skin and it is slightly 'tacky'. It needs to be 'tacky' for the ear plug to stay securely in the ear canal and really Block Out! D. please don't give up! Our ear plug is made to BLOCK OUT. We have sent you a magnificent ear plug. Dear Daren: On the contrary, this ultra-high blocking ear plug is so superior and way way above average!!! Daren, it's an easy fix! If you are still hearing the snoring, then I know you haven't inserted the ear plug (firmly) enough to (SEAL) your ears. Please follow the instructions on the card that came with your order, by pushing and flattening the softened ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear openings UNTIL YOU FEEL THE EAR PLUGS ((SEAL)) THE EARS! Daren, all of us in this office wear the ear plug for the same reason as you, so we know it WORKS! Plus, you are presently listening for sound hypersensitively right now to test the ear plug. Please be patient, and as you insert the ear plug better, the sound will disappear.
