Disappointed
After reading other reviews, I had such hope for these earplugs. I so wanted a night's sleep without getting up to sleep in another room when my husband started to snore. No such luck with these earplugs (and I've tried them all)! The first night I used them, I could still hear the monotonous repetitive sound of his breathing machine. If they don't cover the sounds of a breathing machine (a sound most people refer to as 'white noise')why would they cover the sounds of snoring?? So disappointed!!

Dear Simply Susan: We can fix thIs EASILY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Susan, our Ultra-High Blocking BEESWAX ear plug MUST MUST MUST (( SEAL )) the ear canal to block out. Please follow the instructions below EXACTLY, and you'll change from "disappointed" to "ecstatic"!!!!!!! Susan, first take one ear plug at a time and (knead or work) it well. through your fingers or hands for 15 seconds to make the ear plug (soft and mouldable). Then follow the directions in # 1: 1. Push and flatten the softened ear plug, (a bit firmly), IN and AGAINST your ear opening & into your ear canal UNTIL YOU FEEL the ear plug ( SEAL ) (SEAL) (SEAL) your ear canal. YES, It needs to SEAL the ear to block out much. IMPORTANT: If the ear plug doesn't (( SEAL )) immediately, then just keep your finger pressed against it for a few more seconds and it will warm and SEAL PERFECTLY. 2. Now take the other ear plug, and prepare it and insert it (exactly) the same way as the first ear plug. NOW, with both ears SEALED, ( NOW ) LISTEN TO (( SILENCE )) !!!!!! Susan, we too, all wear this magnificent ear plug for the same reason as you. We know IT WORKS!!!!; We are at 800-226-1884.
