Dear Joanne: You and another new customer named Yvonne have reported the same experience, yet once you both learn how to ((prepare)) and ((insert)) this magnificent ear plug; you'll both "sing us praise"!!! Mighty Plugs will "SEAL OUT NOISE" (( PERFECTLY ))>>>>>>IF you first prepare these Beeswax ear plugs by (kneading them) between your fingers; and then IF you insert them correctly!!! Joanne, PLEASE follow the dirctions below and you'll be pleasantly surprised at the blocking!!! 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make this Beeswax Ear Plug (soft and malleable).When the ear plug is soft, malleable and ready to insert; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug and FLATTEN it against your opening and ((into your ear canal)) until you feel a (( GOOD SEAL )). IMPORTANT: If it doesn’t seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds, and it will SEAL well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & SEALING the ear canals; now listen: you’ll hear very little or possibly no noise at all; and (it even gets better) each day or night afterwards..
