So yes you can speak to a vet almost instantly, however spoke to the vet 5 days ago and he prescribed meds for my dogs ear infection. Checked tracking on meds and will supposedly be delivered Tuesday. That's 9 days from when the meds were prescribed. Their shipping is slug like and could have gotten my pup relief much faster if I went to my regular vet . It shouldn't take 3 days for dutch to review meds ordered before shipping . To me that is unacceptable. The service is supposed to be faster than seeing your vet and I'm telling you it is not . What's the sence if the remedy takes forever for them to send . I will absolutely be canceling this service free shipping ?? Of course it's free when your animals meds arrive via horse back . Unimpressed!

Mixed feelings. I'd recommend starting with a monthly subscription. It's a quick 10 minute vet visit. Be prepared to go quickly with your questions. Also, there's definitely a markup on their prescriptions. I'm still waiting to hear back on either a price match or the ability to transfer a prescription. They probably delay in hopes you'll just use them.

The service was SO slow. I received the order weeks after I placed it, so I obviously had to reach out to a local veterinarian and have it refilled because I needed it and it was taking forever (and to be honest at that point I didn’t even know if I was going to actually receive it). Do not say 5-7 days delivery if it’s at least double that. That’s false advertising if you ask me. The pills seem to be fine, but not everyone can wait forever, especially for medications. It would be such a neat service, if it was working properly. They told me that the order was late because “the pharmacy has been undergoing system upgrades which has led to orders going out slower than anticipated” (quoted from customer service email) but I went to check the reviews and people have been having this issue waaay before me so I don’t believe it, if I have to be honest. If you’re not in a “rush”, use it. If you are… reach out to someone else. Pros: the veterinarian call/e-visit went smooth, and the vet was awesome.

Update: I received a flood of responses from customer service after a couple of days. The company acknowledged the situation was unacceptable and I now see a tracking number for my order. So while not a scam, it's a start-up company that seems to be experiencing some growing pains. I've updated my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. Original Review: Like others have written here, the care from the vet has been great and she answered my follow up questions right away, but Dutch's fulfillment and customer service operations are a mess right now. Customer service is slow to respond and does not provide any useful information when they do. I paid for prescriptions that have not been filled in the timeline the company gave and haven't been able to get anyone to tell me when the order will ship. Does not inspire confidence in using them as a monthly provider of meds for my pet.

I signed up for Dutch thinking that their "see a vet 24/7" advertisement meant I could see a vet the same calendar day. This was not the case. I would've had to wait until the next morning (over 14 hours after signing up) to see a vet. After realizing there weren't any vets actually available I asked for a refund of my money. Their customer service is terrible. They declined to refund my money even though I did not use any of their services and was tricked by their advertisement. Save yourself the trouble and go to a respectable organization that values their customers. Edit: After seeing this review, someone on their publicity team got in touch and processed my refund. Upping my review from 1 star to 3 stars although they would've saved themselves all the trouble by just having better customer service.

If the company has a serious question as to whether to refill meds you shouldn't rely on an email when we may not be glued to our email, a phone call maybe? And then get an attitude because I didn't answer right away and stop meds that shouldn't be stopped.

After seeing the good reviews I figured I’d give it a shot. My dog has been dealing with some skin issues and I was really looking forward to her being prescribed a strong topical or oral prescription. I’d made a point to tell the vet I have tried NUMEROUS otc items with no success. The vet said that they would prescribe some stuff after the call and I’d see it in my profile and then I approve or deny the items. Ok, great! Well things turned out not so great. I take a look after the call and see that every item they prescribed is otc. Not only that but the vet threw in items to treat tear stains when I never mentioned my dog having them (she never has) and the prices were ridiculous. Every item listed I could get a better product off Amazon for the same price, half the price, and even a third of the price! I also learned that the shipping process is not quick. But Amazon? I can get those items next day. Even Chewy would be quicker. Honestly, I would like to rate two stars but I’m not sure if I just had bad luck with the one vet I saw so I don’t want to speak for others and say this service is a complete waste. There may be vets that actually listen and are helpful. Sadly, I did not get one of them.
