My dog has terrible allergies and is very fearful, so taking him to the vet is hard. Found Dutch and the reviews were good. Paid for the annual membership and then had a video call from a vet within the hour. She was knowledgeable and sympathetic with my dilemma, the problem was that Arizona does allow them to prescribe medication if the animal hasn’t been seen by a vet recently. Dutch could give me a month worth of medication but I would have to see a vet here in Az for them to give me any more medication. I should have just paid for a months membership, but lesson learned. They were very helpful and at least I will start him on the road to a more peaceful life. They also suggested a sedative before seeing a vet so it’s easier on him.

Update: Ariel from Dutch contacted me and provided a refund for the issue. She said the site shouldn't say Saturday delivery on the predictor since they do not have weekend delivery at all even with rushed. She admitted that it was a mistake that needed correcting. Ariel spoke with me promptly after my view. I forgot to provide this update for weeks but I wanted to let readers know. I changed my 1 star to a 4 for services rendered. This company sucks! The vet (very nice) gave me the prescription that I needed for my pet. Great! Until I had to use their crappy pharmacy. I ordered the medication thursday evening. Paid $25 for rush shipping that clearly stated it would be delivered on Saturday. My dog needs his medication asap so of course I paid! They waited until friday night to ship it and it says monday delivery. That isn't what I paid for. This place is a scam. I want my money back. I could have just taken the script to a real pharmacy. Stop having your own pharmacy services and give me my money! My dog can't wait until monday and that isn't what I paid for.

I have a 14 year old German Shepherd mix we adopted from the humane society 7 years ago. He loves his family but due to his rough past gets super anxious around others and won't let anyone else near him. Due to his age we are keeping him comfortable but do not want to upset him by taking him to the vet. He has arthritis and I thought we would have to put him down but Dutch has saved his life. He is more comfortable and less anxious. I give the vets 5 stars. I had an issue with him receiving his meds a couple times which is the only reason I did not give 5 stars but customer service was quick to respond and super helpful the majority of the time. I paid for the year (and was able to do this by making payments) and that also includes help with our pit bull which is super helpful as money is tight and I don't have to take her to the vet for every issue, like the eye infection she just had.

It was honestly quick and painless. The tracking of meds was a bit difficult, but the communication was easy.

I signed up for Dutch services, and scheduled our very first virtual visit appointment. The appointment began right on time, the Veterinarian was very nice, professional, and very helpful! She prescribed a Rx treatment plan for my dog. Following the end of my appointment, all I had to do was go in my Dutch account, add the Rx medications to my cart, and check out. I could also message her through my account with any follow up questions and received responses in a very timely manner. This was the easiest Vet visit my dog and I have ever had. I did not have to load a VERY travel and people anxious dog into my vehicle to travel 20 miles, then try to get my dog out of the car and make her go into a strange and scary to her place that makes her feel even more terrified, let people she doesn’t know touch her, making her more scared and anxious, then try to get her back into the vehicle and travel back home 20 miles, and wait a hour or two after getting back home, for her anxiety, nerves, and terror to subside, all the while she is wondering why her human would make her feel this way. Dutch veterinary services is such a complete non stressful option all the way around, that allows me to maintain the important sense of trust, safety and security between my dog and I while still receiving great veterinary care vs. the other route. I will continually choose Dutch for my dogs from now on unless a absolute hands on need arises. I only gave 4 stars because I feel improvement could and should be made on prescription order fulfillment and shipping speeds, allowing for affordable options to make it faster than 5-7 days before receiving prescription medications.

Dutch has been extremely helpful to me. I adopted a kitten from a somewhat shady rescue and he brought ringworm fungus into our house. My dog, who has serious lifetime skin issues, was very susceptible and broke out in lesions. Dr. Hardin was available to answer questions within a few hours at most which was great because my dog reacted very badly to the first antifungal and had to be switched to another one and also be put on antidiarrheal and GI prescription food (after trying bland diet with no success). I had a LOT of questions about this fungus and the doctor was very responsive. Imagine getting that service from your local vet? Not gonna happen. He didn't try to upsell me either; he told me ways to save money and none of the products are mandatory. You only add the ones you want to your cart. The only reason I gave 4 rather than 5 stars is that when you transfer a prescription to a local pharmacy (if you need it very fast) the process is a little sloppy. But that could also be on the local pharmacy's end. I will still use my local vet for annuals and things that need to be seen in person, but I plan to upgrade to the annual Dutch subscription at my next paycheck. For someone with 3 cats and a dog and an average income, Dutch is a lifesaver.

The vet that over saw my pets treatment was super sweet and caring! She did a very thorough investigation into my pets illness & was able to write an RX for us that was mailed directly to our home. The only reason I didn't give a 5/5 is because of the wait time of us getting our RX. It did take nearly 2 weeks to receive. But I really appreciated the owner of the company reaching out through email to personally explain the delay in shipping. I have already recommended to my friends to try out Dutch! I think its a really great company.

So updating my review, my cat's meds came today, they did rush delivery for me.
