Just signed up today. Tried to book an appointment and there are none. Talked with chatbot and it said to check back everyday. Tried to call - no one available even though it is during business hours. DO NOT SIGN UP. Complete scam.

I just signed up for Dutch for my kitten with prolonged sneezing (possible URI), and it wasn't until I signed up for the susbcription that I could try and book an appointment. When it got to the appointment availability page, everything in March AND April are greyed out and unavailable. Customer support made it seem like they haven't opened April availability yet, but saying this service is available 24/7 is a joke. Hope it gets better...

My only experience with Dutch is and will ever be the marketing email I just got: “Subject: i hate the car. please stop. From: your cat Smidgen (this is your cat Smidgen talking) ͏[via care AT care DOT dutch] hi. it’s me. your cat Smidgen quick question for you why do we keep going to that place where I shake, you say 'it’s okay,' and then someone looks in my ears and we leave $300 poorer? i don’t even have fleas right now. (i might soon though. just saying.) apparently… there’s another option. you stay home i stay calm and a real vet still helps me it’s called dutch can we try that next time? get me meds without the car ride thanks. – your cat Smidgen” why was this so upsetting to me? Firstly because other than my vet, I can’t think of anywhere my information is out there with my pets’ names that would have been sold; but mainly because “my cat Smidgen” died of intestinal lymphoma in November of 2024, he DID in fact hate the car, and putting him in it to go for an ultrasound he didn't come home from – again because he did, in fact, hate the car, and it would have been more stressful on both of us to bring him home and back so I could say goodbye - was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. So when this hit my email it wasn’t cute, or funny, and didn’t make me want to use Dutch for anything. It made me freeze for moment upon seeing an email from….my dead cat? My beloved happy boy that cancer stole? And then brought back one of the most upsetting memories of my entire life, listening to “my cat, Smidgen” wailing all the way to the vet on his last car ride until I picked up his ashes. So I can’t speak to the service, but this is a 0/10 marketing strategy. I don't know where you got my info but you didn't think this campaign through.

If I could leave no stars I would. This website advertises that you can get a zoom call with a vet licensed in your state and get access to prescriptions. I had the in person vets office, and my state attached to the account. Yet every time was scheduled with an out of state vet. I couldn’t get prescriptions. Basically a waste of money.

Wouldnt let me fix my address. Tried for weeks and then finally called them and they said its my issue and my apps fault. Told me they would contact their tech and get back with me, never got back with me. So i canceled and when i canceled it said my membership ended that day, only about 6 moths after i payed for an entire year. I payed for an entire year and never got to use them once because location was always wrong and at points it wouldnt let me add my pets. I got ripped off and never got to use the vet ONCE. Dont waste your $130.

I ordered medication’s after we had a Tele visit with Dutch veterinarians, and never received the medication’s. I tried numerous times to have the medication‘s re-shipped to me and they told me I would have to pay for them. Terrible customer service from this pharmacy. I would never recommend them! I paid almost $100 for medication’s that I never received. And they refused to reimburse me! Very disappointed! Save your money go to a real vet!

The vet was amazing a polite. No complaints about her. But then entire service is absolutely not worth it. I just paid $130 for a membership. I scheduled an appointment for my cat and she was given a prescription for a UTI testing kit for $140!!!!! Just for the test!! I will just go to the vet in person. It would be quicker and more efficient than paying almost $300 and I would have to wait the time for the tests to be shipped.

Honestly HORRIBLE experience. My first appt was cancelled by the vet. I tried for two days to get into my account (did everything from incognito to diff browsers, diff computers, diff phones). I called in to find out what was going on and was told an IT ticket was started and they would follow up. They rescheduled the appt for two days out. I never heard back about my account access. The appointment went fine, meds were sent to their pharmacy. I had to call in the following day because I still couldn't access my account. They won't let you order meds over the phone and said they would send them into my pharmacy. Well....they didn't call me to tell me that they couldn't be called in to the pharmacy I asked them to use...they instead sent a message I couldn't see because I couldn't access my account. I called AGAIN only to be told they will transfer it to Costco. So they transfer it, Costco doesn't have enough info to fill it, so they call me to confirm. Fine, NBD....THEN!!!! THEN!!!! My husband is at the pharmacy to pick up meds. Pharmacist asks him to call Dutch to get their address. THEY CANT GIVE THE ADDRESS OVER THE PHONE....they have to email it. So I get the address to my husband and once again, something ELSE goes wrong. They can't verify the vets freaking license number....so I have to call them back AGAIN...we will see if I'm even able to get these meds tonight. My dog has arthritis and has been in pain for a week while I've been trying to sort this out with Dutch. F**king INSANE. This is a total scam and the service is TERRIBLE!
