Not impressed with Dutch vet care app. I only wanted flea and tick meds for the dog. After I paid their membership and filled out the required information they needed. The last step submitting all the information. The button wouldn’t work after many attempts I gave up. Save your money.

The vet service so far has been good. The prescription part not so much. If you do order from them id screen shot everything from the shipping offered and time frame. Because having it shipped I. 2 days is extra I think $25 and it was only coming a day or 2 before regular so I went regular. We'll they didn't even ship until the "regular " mail was going to deliver it. That is messed up. Not that anything would change it but when I emailed them that actually just argued over the delivery time I had. Didn't just apologize for the misunderstanding and move on they buckled down on they are right and im wrong . So just a heads up. Ive had several emails back and forth with you guys, my email address was confirmed! And the prescription still didn't arrive on time.

I have had repeated email exchanges with the customer care regarding their refusal to cancel a recurring prescription for my dog after she passed away, include an apology from Brayan who three weeks ago wrote: "I have taken the following actions immediately to ensure this is completely resolved: Full Cancellation: I have officially canceled your Dutch membership and all associated subscriptions. You will not be charged again, and no further orders will be fulfilled. Refund Submitted: I have submitted a full refund request for the current order to ensure you are not out of pocket for a service you no longer need. Timeline: You will see the funds back in your original payment method within 3 to 5 business days." Today I was notified that another prescription is on the way. What kind of company torments a grieving pet owner like this? I don't know if they are cruel or just incompetent but it is one of those two and I suggest staying far away from them. --- Dutch's response is incredibly disingenuous. The fact is my card was charged again after the above quoted assurance from Brayan that it wouldn't happen. Yes, you refunded that one too but only I had to go through the hassle of contacting you again. Up until your response here I thought you all were just incompetent. Now I believe you're dishonest too.

Update: I was finally given a refund, but only after I posted here and commented on Social Media about my experience. Very poor customer service. Signed up because they advertised they could prescribe antibiotics for a UTI. Then I found out (before the vet call) that they take SEVERAL DAYS/up to a WEEK to get the antibotics to you because they REQUIRE you to use their online pharmacy. To use a local pharmacy costs a fee and takes DAYS for them to do. So I had to cancel the appointment and schedule one with a local vet. When I asked for a refund (since I'm not using their services) they DENIED it. I do NOT recommend them.

PHONE CONSULT WAS EXCELLENT, BUT THEN MEDS TOOK 3 DAYS LONGER THEN PROMISED AND WE PAID EXTRA FOR EXPEDITED DELIVERY. THEN THE MEDS DIDN'T WORK!

This is not the first time Dutch has let me down. On three occasions I have used Dutch. The first time went great, my cat was having tummy trouble and we got it fixed. The second time was last year, I needed antibiotics for my cat and "rush" shipping did not happen, even though I was charged for this. I quickly cancelled my membership. However, this time a year later it was the same. My cat needed simple antibiotics and they STILL have not shipped four days later, and yes I paid for "rush" shipping and pharmacy speed. Customer service is extremely slow, you get the round about trying to get ahold to anyone as the vet you speak with it not helpful when it comes to shipping (understandable, it's not their job). Overall I'm extremely mad and should have saved money to go to the real vet... which I'm going to right now. This service would be fine if you were not in a hurry for medication, but DO NOT USE if you need a pet prescription in a speedy manner. I'm so disappointed. Service is great in concept, the actual vet I spoke with was great, but overall I would NOT recommend their service.

I ordered prescribed pain medication for my dog SIXTEEN days ago…and it is still “processing” in Dutch’s pharmacy. When I reached out to Dutch support, they acknowledged the problem, but did not correct it. Currently their support office is unresponsive. If you care about your animal and want their health issues treated promptly, Dutch is NOT A GOOD CHOICE.
