My review of the BT20
My review of the BT20 I have now had the chance to test the BT20, and overall I have a good impression of the bike. Pros: 1. Very robust and solid bike. 2. I really like the design. 3. The battery seems strong. I tested it for around 5 km using assist levels 3 and 5, and the battery performed well. 4. Very good customer service. They respond quickly, which I really appreciate. 5. The brakes, suspension and saddle all feel like good-quality components. Cons: 1. I was disappointed that a brand-new bike arrived with scratches and marks. 2. The key is difficult to insert because the keyhole is positioned where it is hard to see. I have to get down on the ground to see it properly. It also gets dirty when it rains. 3. The mechanical gears make a strange noise, almost as if the bike is constantly trying to change gear. Sometimes the gear also locks and comes out of alignment. I have included a photo. 4. The bike is very large and heavy. I cannot bring it inside my home, so I need to find a suitable place to store it. 5. I do not get noticeable motor assistance on levels 1–2 in the 3-level assist mode. In the 5-level assist mode, I do not feel assistance on levels 1–3. The throttle also only works on the higher assist levels, such as level 3 in the 3-level mode or levels 4–5 in the 5-level mode. Overall: I am happy with the BT20 overall. It feels robust, looks great, and several components seem to be good quality. However, I expected better quality control from a brand-new bike, especially regarding the mechanical gear system. My overall rating is positive, but there is definitely room for improvement, particularly with the gears and quality control.
