Love the feel of the latex top layer, but soft is an understatement
Love the feel of the latex top layer, which is definitely an improvement over any memory foam. The look and quality are nice. But the soft is absurdly soft--this normal sized person was more than a foot into the mattress, and when my honey was in bed with me, we were way way way down into the mattress. Exchanged the soft for the firm, which was a lovely easy process, and I find the firm to be quite on the soft-side too. I like a soft mattress which is why I ordered the soft to begin with, but I find the firm to be along the lines of what many companies consider to be soft. I still really like the mattress, but don't order the firm if you are looking for something really firm, and don't order the soft unless you want to be inside the mattress.
