It's a thick mattress, very well made. A word of caution: do not wrap the mattress in a protector because then it won't be able to breathe. For the first week it felt like I was sleeping on lava. It is a little on the heavy side and I sure wish there were handles to move it around, but since it stays in the same place most of the time, it's not a deal breaker.

This is one of the most comfortable beds I've owned. We couldn't decide between Firm or Soft, so we went with Firm thinking it would be easier to make it softer rather than harder. The bed is quite hard, but we added a 4inch eggcrate topper and it is heaven!

The mattress is super comfy. Ordering and shipping process was great. I do feel that it retains heat sometimes. Otherwise, awesome.
