scammers! they make it look like they are adjusting the online reservation to save you money but in reality they're simply selling additional, unnecessary insurance which you have already paid for. you do not receive a paper or e-copy of what you sign.

Be careful of these guys! They can promise you to charge one amount per day for extra zone before you take a car and finally charge much more! I told them about this they said don’t worry, we’ll fix it and they didn’t! I spent more time to come there and try to fix the problem and they said that’s correct! They didn’t give me paper evidence of our agreement! Newer recommend!!!

Worse rental car company in the US, used many different companies never had a problem, they lie to you in order to make you purchase insurance. When you arrive to pick up the car they make it almost imposible to take the car without paying for insurance 6 days to here back from a manager after several phone calls. Some of their vehicles are old and not well mantained, never renting a car with Drivo,Ace,Fox they are the same company.

When we arrived at Drivo, 408 Carnegie Ave., Newark, NJ from Newark airport, we had to take your shuttle bus. I had to wait 30 minutes for the bus then I had to stand in line for 45 minutes because the person in front of me was arguing with your employee about quoting him one price and changing it when he got there. I had registered online, had my paperwork in front of me and was about to him my license and credit card. I showed him my license and he said I was too old to rent a car. I asked if they would take me to another car rental place, but they said they would only take us back to the airport. the shuttle driver dropped us at the airport in the pouring rain and we were able to rent a car at a reputable car rental agency that had no age limit, you just had to have a legal license. When I got to my destination, I discovered right on their website the age limit was 80 and my husband is only 77. Therefore this would be considered age discrimination. We will never rent a car from them again and nobody else should either! I'm thinking of suing them.

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY. i took a trip to New York and pick up my car from the JFK location. When i arrived it was dark. The counter associate told me that i have to get their basis insurance in New York to cover the vehicle. I told them that i have my own car insurance. That did not matter they still charged me 200 dollars for insurance. Only to find out later when i complained to their corporate office that the counter associate stated that i did not have my own insurance. They took video and pictures of the car and noted all the dents. I drove off. about a hour in my trip i saw that the low tire pressure alert went off. i called the JFK location and they told me not their problem, it mine now. I put air in the tire and when i got to my destination found a nail in the tire. The nail had been in the tire for weeks. I had to get it repaired on my own dime. so drive got 200 insurance and a new tire out of me. DO NOT under any circumstances use this car rental company. you get exact what you pay for. i wish i read the reviews on this company before i rented the car. Message to DRIVO - i tried to contact you to resolve and you just told me you are going to do nothing. you should close your doors now.

This company took an hour to pick Us up from the airport. We landed at 8 and didn’t get our car until 10:30. It made a long day of travel even longer. I will never use them again. It’s not worth the $5 a day save.

it's been 16 days and you haven't sent me the deposit why??? hello I didn't get back the deposit of 500 dollars please send me the invoices I paid everything I had bridges and tunnels but I don't see the deposit in my account!

Beware of this company! DO NOT USE! At pick up they talked me into upgrading I asked for a small suv coincidently that only had one car available.which was not the one I wanted. The girl at the desk was so adamant on me taking this car, spent 10 mins encouraging me I feel so stupid now, even though I told her it’s just me, I fell for the bait. she encouraged me with good rate, the car is new only 5000 miles blah blah, and it still smelt horribly of marijuana. I had the car for seven days and drove it only 3 times because of snow falling in New York. Upon return they said the car had a scratch. Believe me I was shocked. I asked them to show the pick up video it was so convenient that all the still pics never had a direct shot of the side that has the scratch they were angled. We reviewed the pick up video which quickly glides across the damaged side but captures the car at a slower pace for the rest of the car **they knew what they were doing from the beginning**and the agent was able to see there were prior scratches on the car that was not recorded his response was the agent must of missed it. But due to diligence they have to run a claim. Received the report and though they said one scratch the repairs sheet had 15 repairs to be carried out under my claim. Exterior and interior! Beware! An insider told me they clean polish and spray damaged cars which of course wears off and then holds the person liable for damages they did not do. Now I have to argue the additional 14 repairs. And the questionable scratch. They have affected my child care payment. I will be contacting my lawyer and reporting them to consumer affairs. DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE SCAMMING OFF INNOCENT PEOPLE.
