When I ordered I didn’t realise it was a subscription, only when you review products in your basket (as you’re about to pay and by clicking a drop down) does it say monthly.. Not only that when you want to cancel the link doesn’t work.. Webchat was the same and directed me to the same process.. SCAM!!! Hello mr Ombudsman!

Scam subscription hidden in confirmation email. Take payment without sending out product. Scent lasts 2 days max. Scam company. Going through complaints with them now. I'll be getting a refund or Suing them.

Took weeks to arrive very disappointed with aroma sometimes it smells and sometimes it doesn’t .didn’t know when purchased that we had signed up for subscription tried to log on to cancel subscription but says my email doesn’t match account very disappointed would give no starts if it was a option

Shockingly bad company - caused me hundreds of pounds worth of damage and they have tried to avoid all responsibility and wriggled out. Place the car freshener on the sunvisor with the sunvisor mount that they supplied the perfume has run out of the silly wooden block and melted the sunvisor. When I contacted the company. They told me that he should not be used anywhere near sunlight even though they supplied me with a sunvisor mount. Did not know that this was a subscription service and they have still tried to take money from me whilst costing me hundreds of pounds worth of damage on my car. This is a letter that I sent and this is their reply. Shortly after placing the air freshener inside my car, I noticed that my sun visor has suffered significant damage. The material has become warped, twisted, and misshapen. Upon investigation, it is clear that the issue has been caused by the air freshener itself, likely due to alcohol or another chemical contained within it reacting with the surface. This damage was not present prior to use of your product, and nothing else has come into contact with the visor. Given that my car is well cared for and this is a premium vehicle, this is extremely disappointing and frustrating. I now face the prospect of repair or replacement costs through no fault of my own. I would appreciate immediate clarification on how your company intends to resolve this issue, including compensation for any repair or replacement necessary. I am able to provide clear photographic evidence of the damage upon request. Subscription Issue: Additionally, I have only recently discovered that your product appears to operate on a subscription basis. At no point during my original purchase was this made explicitly clear to me. I find this concerning and misleading, as it was never my intention to sign up for ongoing payments. I have already taken steps to cancel any future payments until this matter is resolved. Absolutely dreadful Company dreadful services and will end up costing you not only a sneaky hidden subscription fee for hundreds of pounds worth of damage.

I’ve been really disappointed with my experience using Drift’s visor air freshener. I followed all the instructions and only attached it using the metal clip provided, but after a couple of weeks it caused visible damage to my sun visor. The surface has warped and rippled, most likely from the fragrance oils, even though I used it exactly as advised. When I contacted customer service, they told me the product shouldn’t be placed in direct sunlight. That doesn’t make sense, as the freshener is designed to clip onto the sun visor, which is obviously exposed to sunlight during normal use. There was no clear warning that this could lead to damage. I also received an email saying my subscription payment had failed, which was the first I knew I’d even signed up for one. At no point during checkout was it clearly stated that I was entering into a recurring subscription. I’ve now cancelled the subscription, but I feel completely let down. Between the lack of transparency and the damage to my car, I would not feel comfortable ordering from Drift again. I’d also urge people to check Drift’s social media and online reviews. I’m clearly not the only person who’s had issues with unexpected subscriptions and product-related damage. Others have had similar experiences, and it’s really disappointing to see this happening to so many people.

Very disappointing!!! Some great marketing but be careful as when you purchase these you will unknowingly be signing up for a subscription!! The air fresheners smell great and initially I was very happy however they don’t last more than a few days. A £2 magic free air freshener lasts longer. I won’t be buying again unfortunately

Merchants like this should not be allowed to trade online. They misadvertise their products and quietly sign you up for a subscription without clear consent. It honestly feels like a textbook example of an online scam. Cancelling the subscription is deliberately difficult, and even after doing so, you’re unable to remove your card details from their system. Everything is designed to mislead and trap the customer into further charges. This sort of practice should not be allowed to continue — it needs to be investigated and brought to the attention of the relevant authorities. In my view, platforms hosting this seller should ban them entirely.

Absolute waste of space. Purchased two then cancelled two months ago! Still sending them out and taking money and trying to cancel is ruining my life!!! 24 hours for any email for assistance!!! Ridiculous! Do not waste your precious time!
