1. The initial provider said I shouldn't have any out of pocket cost and should be all covered by the insurance. 2. I owe $over $700 now. I didn't know about this until I got the equipment and now it's too late. 3. They never sent any breakdown of the costs until I had to ask. 4.They called 15 min before appointment to cancel my appointment. 5. I don't even know if I had other options and at this point, its too late for me to go to another provider, because initially I trusted the provider who said I shouldn't have out of pocket cost.

Overall terrible experience, I have been waiting for over a month for ANY type of customer service in order to get my prescribed device and Dreem Help's score is 2 people that promised a callback and never did, one person that answered the phone and lied, (told me I would get my device within 10 days), and 1 agent disconnecting while trying to understand why I have to work with the manufacturer to get my insurance to approve a device they prescribed. When I get a prescription for antibiotics it's not my responsibility to contact the drug manufacturer and dilly around with my insurance. If I didn't already have sleepless nights this company would have given me them. This org is a startup with its CS hat on backwards, blaming the customer for things that are ultimately their resposibility. Stay far far away. Update, note they've responded with a canned "thank you for letting us help resolve this issue", they didn't resolve anything, perfect example of someone not paying attention to their customers, is this a company you want to trust with your health and insurance?

They told me I had sleep apnea but the wrong one for my insurance. I’m still suffering, they did nothing for me and didn’t give me anything I could do to help

2 night sleep study - 1 with my appliance, 1 without. Less apnea episodes without appliance (not expected). No explanation, just straight to pushing a CPAP device and monthly subscription. I self-paid, then Dreem Health charged my insurance. Refused to make any adjustments and never provided clear detail on how they adjusted the billing from self-pay to insurance and my responsibility. Lots of money spent, zero help with my sleep.

I dealt with 1 practitioner out of Florida Karen P and she was very helpful and informative. The problem lies with the dreem customer service team, they are completely useless. I was only able to access my test results once on their app which cost me a wasted trip to my cardiologist. When I reached out to their customer service team (twice now) to get them to send my test results I haven't heard back and it's going on roughly 10 days now. Billing is very questionable also having a decent insurance policy yet their "testing" seems to cost more than any other specialist visit or other diagnostic co-pay. I got tired of waiting for my local hospital's sleep study program and chose dreem however over 2 months I have only confirmed what I already knew with no treatment plan in place moving forward.

After reading all the negative reviews for their app, I cancelled before I even got started. The initial bill for a 30 min Telehealth call was $495.00, adjusted to $336.02, adjusted again to my insurance for $158.98, of which I owed $31.80. They do not answer their phone. (They did call after I left this review.)

This place is an ounce of science and a ton of sales. I did not learn anything new. Everything they tell you, you already know if you have an Oura ring or an Apple Watch. Furthermore, I have terrible sleep and have that is clearly due to cortisol spikes and 3am waking. My test results showed my breathing normal, solidly in the green. Yet they told me that I have sleep apnea and if I treated my sleep as a priority I would pay thousands of dollars that insurance won’t pay for because I don’t have any diagnostic criteria to warrant it. They didn’t test or delve into any other cause of sleep issues except for things that they sold services for. Complete waste of money and time. Hoag should be ashamed of themselves for gouging patients. I have improved my sleep by 30 points using Oura results and Claude.

It was very easy to schedule an appointment and my practioner was very knowledgable. My issue is that Dreem markets itself to help people with sleep issues/disorders, Usually, these patients require special medication that often involve meds like vyvanse and adderral. The practictioner made it clear at the beginning of the call that Dreem is unable to prescribe these medications. How can they market themselves as as sleep medicine doctors - yet they are unable to prescribe the very types of medicine sleep disorders require? Again - very nice and professional - but a complete waste of time if you are looking for help with a true sleep disorder.
