I can assure you that all the bad reviews here are 100% true no lies because I have personally experienced it because why will they just wake up one day and suddenly say they can’t verify my KYC and just deleted by account. They didn’t ask me any questions or request information from me. Customer service is a nightmare, horrible company and they refused to pay me my royalties I’m sure that’s why they suddenly deleted my account. I have more than 20 books on the platform and already made substantial sales. Stay away from them.

OK i really needed to find a platform that could provide the options that Draft2digital offered, so i filled in the signup, entered all the tax info they require as im not a us citizen and then paid my 20 USD after they confirmed everything was fine, only after i had paid did i get an email saying i need to fill in a KYC form, no problems so filled in form and then found the company Plaid are asking for a very sensitive form of ID not a driver license or passport but a unique ID number, this id number is 12 digits and not fully rolled out in the country Im from, so i politely explained no go, to which i received very little assistance except for a we have reset you KYC please try again....which i did same issue, then i get another email saying account closed due to non compliance...so 20 USD down the drain and a permanent ban.....Draft2 Digital don't bother guys its not worth it BAD

Ho avuto un'esperienza davvero pessima. Dopo aver caricato tutti i miei dati sensibili, avere inviato tutto quello che mi hanno chiesto per la registrazione, caricato un mio libro, mi chiudono l'account contestando il libro stesso, che è già online in altri store da svariati mesi e senza alcun problema. Non solo una perdita di tempo, ma anche il problema della privacy non è da poco. A mio modo di vedere le cose raccolgono solo dati.

Piattaforma davvero deludente. Nonostante ho fatto tutti i passaggi che mi hanno chiesto, aver dato i miei dati sensibili hanno chiuso l'account, senza alcun motivo. Dare una stella è anche troppo. lasciate perdere non vale la pena perdere tempo. La sconsiglio!

After investing countless hours writing, editing, and publishing my books, my account and publications were removed with what I believe was little transparency and no meaningful opportunity to address the concerns raised. For authors, our books represent months or even years of hard work, creativity, and dedication. Seeing that work suddenly removed is devastating. What concerns me most is that this platform can effectively erase an author's efforts and income with a single decision. Instead of feeling supported as a writer, I felt dismissed and treated unfairly. The communication I received was cold, intimidating, and offered no practical path toward resolving the issue. Authors deserve clear explanations, fair reviews, and the opportunity to correct problems when they arise. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Based on what happened to me, I cannot recommend Draft2Digital to other authors. Writers should be aware that the time and effort they invest in building their publishing business on this platform could be lost if their account is terminated, leaving them with little recourse. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have had as an independent author.

After being on the site for more than a year, with several books published and available across all formats and all outlets, they decided to redo the identity verification. I failed this because my address changed. In Australia, a change of address goes on the BACK of the licence and they would not accept this. Yesterday, I logged in and all books were delisted. Customer Service said this: "Nothing can be done; I am sorry you will need to work directly with the vendors." Wow. OK! This morning, my account is inactive. They NEVER paid me the money I earned. I wouldn't publish with them again even if I could.
