Hello Scot, I’m sorry to hear you feel misled—I can assure you this is not the experience we’d like you to have of our service. doxo provides an online bill pay service used by millions and is associated with many web searches for billers. This is probably the situation you encountered. To let you know, doxo also offers other services on top of conventional bill-pay—we offer free email bill-pay reminders as well, and a subscription service, doxoPLUS that has five key bill-pay protections: credit score monitoring, overdraft protection, late fee protection, private pay protection, and identity theft protection, in addition to the ability to pay your bills via ACH with no added delivery fees.
