I worked at dolalr tree loved my job at first til I found out how bad the management was left in charge after just a few weeks as the manager went to other stores had a part time employee that didn't like me when the manager left because she had to work i was fair didnt make her do things she didn't Ike we got along great til the manganger left then she started calling texting the manager and the dm telling lies not once did the manager come to me and ask what the issue was didnt ask the other employees just listened to this one which by the way let her and her boyfriend work together and do as they wanted them working on same business is against store policy i made a complaint about it and nothing was done but I was let go because I broke policy like all of the assistants and manager did ya dont pay to be honest but pays to be dishonest at that place not a good work inviroment at all so would not work for that company couldn't pay me enough to go through what I did !!!!! This was store number 03083

This morning I was at the Dollar Tree @ 9:03a. Needless to say, they were not open. The employee standing outside acted like it's no big deal. I don't know when we will open. "Mixed up in schedules".This Dollar Tree in Cedar Hill off 67 is one of the rudest stores! All of the employees seem unhappy and frustrated!! Please! Please get them quality customer service help! A smile every once and a while may help from a employee..I would rather drive 10 miles than to deal with terrible customer service!!!

I loved working at dollar tree, but that all changed when we got a new manager Samantha shumaker. She's verbally abusive to her employees. Screams at her staff on the sales floor, and would call them a liar repeatedly. She'd force her coworkers to do her job while she sat on her butt in the office, or would be outside either smoking or playing on her phone. The employees that wouldn't do her job either got fired by her, or would be bullied until they quit. A manager should not be telling an employee that they were going to make their life a living hell just because she didn't like them. A crying employee mourning the death of her father shouldn't be called a crybaby just for grieving. I am never going anywhere near the mount pleasant iowa dollar tree until Samantha shumaker no longer works there. I'm not supporting a company who thinks it's all right to subjugate their employees to that kind of abuse.

I was in the Dollar Tree at 4037 E. Grand, Laramie, WY and bought a plant hanger. When I got home and got it out of the bag it was defective. At the time of purchase I didn't take the option for a receipt. When I went to return it I was told they couldn't take it back with out a receipt. There is nothing posted at the checkout explaining that. The cashier was very rude, so I asked to speak to the manager. I had to argue with her for ten minutes and she agreed to let me get something else but no return money. When I buy something I expect it to work whether it costs $1 or $100. Also there is nothing posted on charging a fee if a customer uses their debit or credit and asks for extra at the time of the purchase. I just left the store in Van Buren Arkansas, where the cashier said to me that she was not worried about, I guess catching the new virus. Very few people in the store had on masks, including me. Definitely not her. She said people complained aboutnot being able to breathe. I said it will be too late when they are 6 feet under. That is when she said she wasn't worried about. it. Sad and bad attitudes like that is what is going to cause a second surge, history of the 1918 Spanish flu has not taught people anything. I have been so proud of the low numbers in Arkansas. That will not last with attitudes of I don't care. I have stayed in not to spread anything even unknowingly and decided to go to what WAS my favorite place to shop. Heartbreaking to know what is coming next because people don't care about themselves, their families or friends!!!!!!!!! Connie Jones Van Buren. Arkansas

I am frustrated with going to these stores in Wake county area to shop only to find that they have locked their “restrooms” or say they are out of order,i am in my late 60’s, restroom stops are more frequent, i am going to shop where I can use the restroom, if I have to pay more so be it, I am getting frustrated with coming to these stores for that reason, won’t happen again,will shop at Walmart,products are better anyway. Totally upset

Was at Dollar Tree on Henry Street Muskegon Michigan. Store 1547 today May 2 2020. At 4 p.m. I understand very well the social distancing. And with marks on the floor it's easy to tell where you are suppose to be. I was where I was suppose to be with my feet on the sliver tape they have on the floor. Another woman was behind me on her mark. Two people in front of me. One on the mark and one in the middle. So the cashier Chelsea says to me could you back up and respect the social distancing rule. I told her I was right on the spot you have marked. The person she was waiting on was not social distancing. He should not have been between the two marks. I am a grown up not a 3 year old child that has to be scolded for something I was not doing. And her making it worse by running her mouth non stop. There is no excuse for rudeness in any situation. And for a store employee to be just disrespectful is uncalled for. This company really needs to teach their cashiers some people skills. And before you scold a customer get your facts straight. The person in front of him should have been asked to step aside so he could get where he was suppose to be.

On 4/25/20. Time 18:18 store# 3088 2108 W 27th Street Ste. A-5 Lawrence, KS 66047 I went into the Dollar Tree a second time to purchase another gallon of Crystal Geyser Water. The first associate was courteous but she had finished her shift and this older aged white woman whose name is Diana checked me out. After the purchase transaction she handed me the item but before taking it I asked her to please put it into a dollar tree plastic bag. She silently caught an attitude and almost snatched it, putting the item into the bag and handed it to me. Noticing the blatant disregard for my purchase and disrespectful attitude towards me l immediately returned back to the store and told the asst. manager about it and returned my item for a different gallon of water because Diana bent the bottle of the one she slammed into the bag. She needs to be severely disciplined or fired! I give this store a poor rating. This isn't this first time this has happened to me. I am a frequent customer. I feel like this store is prejudice against people of color. This store is racial profiling people of color. Not good!
