Double charged my debit card a month ago, adding a $20 +$1.00 ATM charge for a (9.65) I was told it would be put back in my account within 3 days. I have been there 4 times in a month talking to manager , still not fixed! Also 2 DEAD cockroaches on floor of her office, when pointed out she said she forgot to call exterminator. Lost a customer, will not be going back!

The Dollar Tree in Boutte is horrible. I was hired last Monday. I had to reapply and I called the manager and let her know that I did. She said that she was busy and said that she would update my status and to call back in 30 minutes. It was 2:50 and I called again and the employee said that the manager went home. My phone was not working properly and I even told the manager that. I didn’t have the money to fix it. I called yesterday and they said that the manager doesn’t work on Sundays. So today I called the store to talk about my status. She rudely said that “That was last week and I told you to call me back.” I did tell her that I did called. She then have the nerve to say “Well I hired someone else so”. I waited for a call back and I didn’t get anything. Not even the email she was supposed to send. I get that I could have called throughout the week, but she could have called me too. Don’t try to work there. I have never dealt with this at any of my other jobs that I had.

Went to 2 Dollar Trees and 1 Family Dollar store today (owned by Dollar Tree) in 3 different towns in NC. In all 3 there were multiple customers walking around maskless and this isn't the first time I have seen this. Despite their "official" policy, the stores don't give a damn who walks around without a mask. And when I asked an employee why people were being allowed to walk around maskless, she acted like she didn't know anything about it. Meanwhile she had just rung up a maskless customer not 2 minutes before! My personal policy is "no mask, no money" so I left. I am DONE with these stores!

My wife and I just came home from Mountain Hermon Scotts Valley California Dollar Tree branch . We were treated so badly and so rudely by one of the workers there that got myself and my wife so upset. My wife being a Nurse and my self being a Health Care Worker should never be treated like that. She didn't have to be so rude about it, she works for customer service, we even greeted her good morning and asked how she was, she didn't respond at all and started bagging our stuff without asking if we want a bag or not. There was no pleasantries on how she spoke us , she demanded for us to put the money on the counter " I don't want to touch your hand" , We understand it's pandemic and with this Covid situation we have the right to be careful about everything but we don't have to be so rude about it, there are better ways to communicate with your customers rather than degrading and traumatizing them . I hope this won't happen to anyone out there and we hope that customer service lady (she was not wearing her name badge by the way) would read this and realize how her actions affects people's day. It is not nice to be rude with your customers especially if all they were doing was shopping at your store !

They couldn't get a simple order processed. Finally I cancelled the order, now almost a month has passed and still no refund. This shopping experience was my worst so far. STRONGLY recommending NOT shopping EVER at dollar tree dot com. HORRIBLE>

Worked here as an assistant manager, it was top 3 for worst employment on my list. Top had to be amazon before they brought in better benefits and pay(they made me feel like a number). My prior manager is currently getting away with a couple of illegal practices..multiple employee reports to corp does nothing. Their most important line, to report discrimination, retaliation, ect...is never maned. That meme where if someone put a gun to your head, told you to dial a number and if they do not pick up you live..call them for sure. Good luck expressing any concern. I did reach an HR manager (after speaking with a prior one...that just forwardered the info to this one) to complain after a full month. NO CAP...was told they owed me unpaid wages on the phone by HR( because they had us illegally take bank deposits off the clock) and almost 4 months later nothing. And say like if you were to work 7 hours at their store. You would need to take a 30 min lunch and two 10 min breaks. Well I stood against that manager and stayed clocked in for bank deposits (per company instruction). I was forced to take two 45 minute lunch breaks and two 10 min breaks for two weeks straight. Not a lawyer but that seems like retaliation and also goes against labor laws since I was still expected to work during those breaks. All in text.. No pay, no investigation into discrimination and retaliation (Which I have concrete evidence of..some things even in text from that manager). My eeoc appointment is soon but honestly I believe its just one corp looking out for the other...nothing will come of it. Also there was a Christmas secret Santa that was "mandatory". Gave $25 to someone...received nothing. Great way to start two months in (middle finger emoji). It was terrible, was not the only one that had to give away $25 and receive nothing...but who cares because they do not! Trust me...this has been reported, they do not value their employees. Mission statement is an absolute lie. Go look at their take every month, yet ripping off employees. And all I wanted in the beginning is to be heard and these issues addressed. It is still a toxic environment, still in contact with people there...thats also how I know that there was no investigation. All I know is I know where to point if we marching again. Do not work for these people. Go deliver that pizza.

My sister and I were at the dollar tree on 28th Street in Grand Rapids MI HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE The employees were so rude and not helpful at all. The store was a mess! Very dirty and dusty and not organized. Then to top it all of my little sister has a medical note stating for personal health reasons (and HIPAA) she can not wear a mask. She was sworn at by the cashier and the people in line with us for not wearing one. We were told they wouldn’t take our money because of that so we left.

Just left the store at shops-I was trying to reach a set of steak knives that was on a peg hook at the very top about 7 feet high. I asked the cashier if there was a step stool she said she didn’t know. I asked if she could ask her manager she walked away. I waited 5 minutes only to see she was ringing on her register. I went over to see if she asked the manager- she said yes, but the manager didn’t know where it was and she would help when she was finished ringing. The line was all the way to the back of the store. Manager never came out to help her ring or to assist me. I climbed the shelve and used a spatula to get the knives- this happens all the time in that store-management or other older cashiers hide in that c cubicle office in the front and let the young cashiers ring by themselves. 3 people in front of me left the store. The service is horrible and store is a mess- will not be shopping at your stores anymore and I know I’m not alone
