The Madras Oregon store is so filthy. Describing it as gross is understating the store's condition. Disgustingly dirty floors, no stock left, no lighting. I couldn't get out of that store fast enough. So gross I was afraid to touch anything left in stock.

Horrible Hiring Experience The Dollar Stores…
I have applied to The Dollar Stores Company 2xs as a Manager in Ohio. I’ve had several interviews and they are so unprofessional taking 3months to decide to hire without communication. I loved working there in the past but most recently they are terrible.
Update: I also want to acknowledge that my family is a military family and when a Veteran applies for a job and are told there will be follow up … yet when you reach out they reply, then over time just stop replying to your job follow up it is confusing and disheartening. I am not mad, I just hope this helps the readers experiencing the same. I also sincerely hope that other veterans are not also discriminated in this way at this company.

Dollar Tree cart issues
Dollar Tree has barred their shopping carts so they can not be taken out of the store at my local store, Camby Indiana. While I understand carts are thoughtlessly left in the parking lots to be lost, stolen and damaged, not even having an option made shopping difficult. After purchasing over $100.00, a full cart, some very heavy items, and carrying all to my car was not doable. I had to leave my paid-for items in the store, get my car and drive up to the store front, park in a no parking fire zone, and load my sacks by as many as I could, but still took about 4 trips in and out to my car!
I think asking to have a couple of pay carts, or just a couple of regular carts available for large, heavy purchases is not too much to ask and is only right and fair to the customers!

Beware of making online orders from…
Beware of making online orders from Dollar Tree. From my recent experience I discovered that Dollar Tree has no method in place for tracking the delivery of an order for pickup at a store in your location. Yes, after placing an order on January 17, 2023, I finally received notification for pickup on February 6, 2023 (14 business days later). When I arrived at the store, the manager informed me my order did not come in and there was no way of knowing where it was and the procedure is to call the 877 number, tell them the order did not come in, they will call the manager for verification and refund my money 3-5 business days later! 🧐 No concern that the product I’ve been waiting for is at another store, according to this manager, this is how it works. My reflection of the situation: What a nice legal scam. Dollar Tree gets the benefit of holding the money of countless consumers for an extended amount of time thus earning interest on money they don’t have to give anything for, and then Dollar Tree takes more time (as do most businesses) in refunding, because each day earns more interest right? And that’s it! Consumer gets nothing, Dollar Tree (which as you know is as high as $5 now) makes a killing with no effort! It’s all about greed. Online orders from Dollar Tree, proceed at your own risk.

I called Dollar Tree close to my home…
I called Dollar Tree close to my home (E Sunset & Tenny, Waukesha) to ask about returning an item purchased at Dollar Tree in Brookfield. Corey stated yes, bring item in. When I went into the store Corey was very rude and stated would not give money or gift card and had to choose item then and there with the exact value to return this item. DO NOT visit this store. Not only is the customer service bad but the store is extremely dirty, disorganized and messy.
