Hi Jay! We're sorry to hear of your experience. We do not lure anyone with anything. We offer discounts and promotions to new clients or people who just might want to try the program before committing to it fully. We do make it known that the promotion is for a year only and that the account will renew for the full price after the first year is complete if not canceled. We do send renewal notices as well as give ample time for people to cancel their account. Hi! We're happy to explain this and apologize that you've had a negative experience. The initial promotions are meant for basic members, new members, or returning members to have a chance to sign up at a discounted price to check out the service. We do make it clear when signing up that this will renew for the regular cost of the membership in year 2. We cannot manage accounts on client's behalf. We're happy to assist in anyway we can but to avoid being charged for the second year, the account needs to be canceled. We do make this clear in our terms of use that clients are expected to manage their accounts. This is the norm with any subscription based service. Hello, We apologize for the confusion on this. In this instance it sounds like the redemption code from stack social was not applied to the account. We ALWAYS take care of billing errors like this and happily refund clients when they provide us proof of purchase from Stack Social. Brandi, We apologize that you're having an issue with our product. We do everything that we can to make sure renewal information is as obvious as possible. This includes confirming this at your initial sign up, confirming this in your initial welcome email, as well as we send renewal notices one month before your upcoming renewal. Unfortunately, we cannot manage accounts on a client's behalf. Client's are the ones who must cancel their account to avoid being charged for the renewal.
