I have been a subscriber for a year now and have yet to get the airfare at the price promoted. If you do subscribe be aware of when it’s renewal time because if you try to cancel afterwards you’re out of luck on getting any premium paid. The company said at a reminder email went out but I didn’t see it and by the time I saw the annual charge go through and tried to cancel I was told they don’t issue any refunds or credit.

Hello,
Thank you for the feedback on our service. We're so sorry to hear that you've had a negative experience.
By default, as with most subscriptions, our plans are set to auto renew and are the responsibility of the client to manage their accounts. We aim to help however we can and we do make it clear when signing up that it's an annual membership.
We also send renewal notices in advance of the membership renewing so that clients have time to cancel their accounts before the charge.
Without knowing more about your particular ticket we can't advise more on here. If you'd like to reach out to us again at [email protected] and reference this review we'd be happy to review.

Dollar Flight Club is a scam!
EDIT: The company has since refunded my money so I'm adding a star because I do appreciate the consideration and the response to this review. The original customer service representative I spoke to did NOT convey these details to me or offer to refund me after expressing my confusion.

It seems either bots are writing these reviews or Dollar Flight Club is using the money they stole from me to pay for these reviews because this was the worst experience I've had. After advertising a $1 fee for membership to their email notifications, they've charged me $99 without my permission and refuse to reimburse the charge a day after the "trial period" ended. You can find just as good deals on skyscanner, kayak, orbitz, etc. Extremely shady business practices.

EDIT: Appreciate the follow up here Kat. I also spoke with our head of customer support and they informed me of the refund. That said, we'd still love to get additional feedback if you're willing to share it. Please do message support again if you're open to sharing where we missed the mark so we can implement updates to avoid future confussion/frustration.

Hi Kat,
Appreciate you providing the feedback here and so sorry that you had an unpleasant experience...There's nothing worse than the feeling of being mislead.
We're a small team trying to provide a good product/customer experience for a lot of customers, but unfortunately not all experiences go as planned. We would never rob, scam, or charge people without permission. We do run a $1, 14-day trial on memberships that become full memberships at the end of the 14th day if the user decides not to cancel, which is common practice for digital membership trials. The full charge at the end of the 14th day is explained to the customer multiple times throughout the signup process, but if we're not doing a good enough job of that....we want to know how to make it more clear so this can be avoided with future customers. That said, our team would love to get more of your feedback if you're open to it. Additionally, if you simply forgot your trial was ending and you didn't want to continue the day after it was charged our customer support team should have refunded you. We strive to be a customer first company...if that didn't happen, we also would love to find out where things went wrong during the conversation with our team.
If you're open to it, please email [email protected] and address your message to Kasandra and reference this review/conversation. We will work with you to get everything corrected.
Have a wonderful holiday week and hope to hear from you soon.
Cheers,
Dollar Flight Club Team
